For clarification, I was explaining to voxelot how local bitcoins functions.

Verified Wink

I have no experience trading BTC locally.. however I would personally only do this transaction in person.. so this loan would also need to take place locally for me..

Are you in the LA area?

Pm sent

Making info public about your intentions might help others to reply as well.. I am not sure I am new, but I believe they work on trust here.

btcbonanza is referring to working with P2P transactions to make money transfer quicker in the states... I am not familiar with these methods but I know it is achievable.

Why?  Because I have an urgent need for these coins.  My typical purchase method is via cash deposit at a bank.  Banks in my area are closed on Sunday and reopen on Monday.

Hello btcbonanza,

I have 1.4 BTC and I live in the US with a BoA account.

I am curious as to what methods you usually purchase BTC with from US soil.. It has been my experience that a coinbase account directly attached to your bank account is the best way to purchase coins... I know they make it hard to get US funds to BTC... It currently takes me a week to receive funds. If you know of a way to deposit cash to a US bank account and have it deposit the next day I would love to know Smiley

I feel you may want a quick way to get coins as many do in the States?

Hi All,

I'm quite sure I'm going to get flamed for this thread, but regardless heres what I'm looking for and what I'm offering in return:

1.4 BTC loan until 8/19/13 (this coming Monday)

Why?  Because I have an urgent need for these coins.  My typical purchase method is via cash deposit at a bank.  Banks in my area are closed on Sunday and reopen on Monday.

What I'm offering is one of two things:

1.  I can outright buy the coins from you at a flat rate of $130 per coin and deposit the cash in your bank account on Monday.  It would be a cash deposit, so it needs to be a major national (US based) bank (ie: BofA, Citi, Chase, etc)  The total would subsequently be $182 USD.

2.  I can repay you in coins.  Via this method you will recieve your 1.4 BTC plus an interest payment of .28 BTC for a total of 1.68 BTC (this equates to 20% interest)

I am more than happy/willing to provide you my cell number, proof of address, and proof of ID.   I do NOT have easy to access collateral for this request.  I have NOT traded/done loans on here previously and I have only a small amount of history.  However I do have a large number of succesful trades with 100% feedback on localbitcoins.

If you are interested in helping out or making a nice little interest payment for what is essentially 24 hours, please send me a PM or reply to this thread.

Thank you.
