DualMiner will have limited stock available next week and higher volumes available in March. I'll try to get my hands on some next week; otherwise it may not be until March :/

Looks like it won't be happening until March at this point. Sad

Keep us posted!
Right now I'm making arrangements to order a batch of the 5-chip miners as there seems to be a larger demand for those and I felt like I had to do something while waiting on DualMiner, but unfortunately I simply don't have the capital to also buy a batch of DualMiner USBs.  It's also an issue of my time between selling stuff here, on eBay, and working a full time job. Wink
But next time I'm going to have a website set up to handle orders which should hopefully result in faster order processing and maybe better (i.e., calculated based on actual cost) shipping rates for everyone.

I apologize for the delays and hope everyone who ordered in the first batch who has received their miners are enjoying them!  I know there are still international orders that have not been delivered but it looks like the first few orders to Europe have been delivered today so everyone should be receiving their miners soon.
yeah, customs seem to delay it.. i finally got a notice to pick it up at customs..

Unfortunatly I'm one of them that did not get delivered yet, I hate USPS, they are slow as hell Tongue

I am not sure USPS should be blamed for slowness, I've got my packet within 7 days from shipment date(to Slovakia, EU).

I'm currently having some issues getting in touch with DualMiner and their website also seems to show limited/out of stock for the DualMiner USBs. :/
Unfortunately it looks like things are going to be a bit delayed- as for now I don't have an ETA but will post here as soon as I hear back.

It looks like the dualminer site is showing them in stock again. I've been having slow contact with them aswell, and with slow, I mean really slow.
Yeah, they are very slow with international shipments except for Priority Mail Express International which is decently quick.

Can you post some screenshots of the errors you're getting?

I sorted it out in the end. It was a problem with the operating system. Turns out the computer was using Windows Vista (maybe there is no support for Windows Vista?Huh? on the dualminer website it only talks about Windows XP, 7, 8 and 8.1).

Anyway i upgraded to Windows 7 and then tried again and they installed the drivers automatically, no problem.I have 30 hashing away now at average 1900 - 2300 kh/s. Appear pretty stable for the time being. Any info about firmware upgrades for the single chip miners? There is suppose to be a firmware upgrade for the 5 chip miner that improves the speed from 300 kh/s - 500 kh/s.

Also do you plan to have any more stock soon?
I don't have any info on new firmware but will post anything if I hear it.

And I am considering ordering another batch because there seems to be a pretty big demand for these. Wink
But nothing official yet.

they have the 49 port hubs in stock
I have used them for several months and they have always been good to me.  Website is a little cheaper than their Amazon store.

ah i'm in aus so they don't ship to me, its alright though, i managed to get in contact with asicminer and bought a couple hubs with expedited shipping.

Ah didn't realize that.  Glad you got some hubs coming.  Wish I had got more than 3 of these from Mitty.  After setting them up they mine great so far.

received my stuff yesterday...thanks for the fast shipping, you are a really reliable seller and this was a fantastic group buy.

Here are some pics of my setup:
(snip)

I got in late last night so i only managed to test one miner running in litecoin mode. It clocked a stable 68-90 kh/s
That was on my laptop running windows 7 x64

I tried to install in on my desktop Windows XP x84 but it crashes every time windows goes to install the driver. I installed the VCP from FDTI website like the www.dualminer.com guide said. I get the following error message: "driver download timed out"

Any ideas, Mitty? I will try again tonight and post some screenshots. Is there a place to download the drivers manually? that would be a lot easier...

Will let you know what speed i get running 30 of them on Dipo Electronic 19 port hubs. These hubs have a lot of juice in them they can deliver about 1 amp per port easily so that should help.

I experienced a similar issue when I tested a few of the units and had just assumed it was something wrong with my computer;
I first tried running a few units on my Windows 7 x64 desktop PC with no success- drivers seemed to install but the units would simply not mine.  So I then tried on my Windows 8 x64 laptop and they worked fine and assumed the issue must be with my desktop PC.

However according to the DualMiner site you don't need to install the VCP driver unless you're on Windows XP- Windows 7 and 8 should install the devices automatically.

Can you post some screenshots of the errors you're getting?

Got my USB today. Thanks for the fast shipping / order processing, Mitty.  Grin

Seems to be unable to mine just in LTC mode, mines both just fine though. I'll tinker with it over the weekend.
No problem, glad it got there quickly & safely. Smiley
Did you make sure you set the tiny switch on the unit itself to "L" mode for Litecoin only?
Let me know if you still can't get it working and I'll contact DualMiner for RMA info right away.

Yeah, I made sure it was set to L.

Everything installed fine, pool info is correct, all the basic stuff I checked.

I can set it to mine both, switch it to B, and it'll work no problem. Set it to mine both and leave the BTC pool info blank and it'll mine just LTC fine. I can even set it to mine both, leave the switch on L, and it'll mine only LTC but KH/s is exactly as if it were mining both.

Set it to LTC only and it won't mine at all. I haven't found a way to get it to mine only LTC at the expected ~70kh/s.
I'm sorry you're experiencing issues with your miner. :/
I just emailed my contact at DualMiner and will get back to you when I hear back from him regarding warranty claims.  Hopefully I hear word back by tomorrow.

I figured it out! I don't think the issues are with the USB, to be honest.

I went to the install directory, changed and ran the LTC_ONLY.bat file. Raised the setting "--dualminer-pll 500" to 900 and it's now hashing at ~70KH/s.

It will not work if I use the GUI that installed.
Awesome, glad it's working!
DualMiner just got back to me and said it doesn't sound like a hardware problem, haha.

How long for shipment to Asia?

Yes it's somewhat of a risk but I shipped the majority of the units I sold both domestically and using Priority Express International (mostly due to one huge order for more than half of my units, haha)

How long for shipment to Asia?
The shipping for the prices listed above is USPS First-Class International Package Service which can take anywhere from a week up to a month (rare, but it has been reported) for international destinations.  It is a cheap service hence why I can offer such low prices for international shipments.

Priority Mail International estimates delivery in 6-10 business days for most international destinations but can be delayed due to customs.  This is a somewhat expensive service and is probably not worth it for small orders (<4-5 miners).  I can do this at an additional cost; simply request it when you email me.
I suggest don't do First class or priority to International. You will get a few chargebacks as it doesn't include tracking. Not worth the headache in my opinion. There are always some buyers who just want to do this.
Be careful, unless you now something i don't know!
I appreciate the heads up.  I've had success with Priority Mail Express (and regular Priority Mail) International but have never tried First Class International before this group buy.  I did some research and it seems the consensus is that FC International is slow but usually reliable so I figured I'd take the risk and see if it works out.  USPS seems to have also improved international tracking in the past few years (at least added international delivery confirmation) to some countries and sometimes the packages can be tracked through the respective foreign postal service websites using the same tracking number.

Yes it's somewhat of a risk but I shipped the majority of the units I sold both domestically and using Priority Express International (mostly due to one huge order for more than half of my units, haha) so I'm prepared to take the hit if any of the smaller international shipments get lost and use this as a lesson learned if I lose a ton of money. :p
I would probably require insurance on all international shipments if this ends up being a failure and I decide to try again in the future.

But so far all of the packages I've checked seem to be progressing nicely to the USPS international shipping center in NY.

Priority Mail Express International is the fastest USPS service (other than Global Express Guarantee which is a partnership between USPS and FedEx) and has an estimated delivery time of 3-5 business days.  This is a very expensive service and is probably not worth it for orders of less than 6 miners.

You can get shipping price estimates for Priority and Priority Express here: http://postcalc.usps.com/
The cost of USPS International services depends mostly on weight; each individual miner weighs 1 oz and packaging material for up to 7 miners adds about 1 oz. (actually a little less but you have to round up)

I can also ship using UPS or FedEx however please be warned that these services will charge you extra customs brokerage/duty fees upon delivery.

If you want your miners as fast as possible I recommend requesting Priority Mail Express International as long as you are willing to pay the extra expense.  My margins are very small on this group buy so I can't absorb the cost of expedited shipping.

same here, I was actually the first to pull the trigger on mittys deal, mine should be delivered tomorrow.

great guy to work with!
Thank you, I hope you enjoy your miners!

Everyone who paid at this point should have received a tracking number.  Please contact me ASAP if you have not received tracking info!  Orders that were made after post office hours today will ship tomorrow morning.

Also please note that it may take up to 24 hours for a tracking number to work after initially receiving it; this is not delaying your shipment in any way!

I am in Asia too. In my experience USPS Express International takes about 5-6 days but you can pay a little extra for FEDEX or DHL and have it within 3 days.

how many litecoin can mine with this?
The miner has 2 modes.  It can mine Litecoin at 70 KH/s on Litecoin-only mode, and can mine Litecoin at 40 KH/s and Bitcoin at 500 MH/s on Bitcoin + Litecoin mode.
You can use a mining calculator to determine how many coins this will generate for you.  Here's one example: http://www.litecoinminingcalculator.com/
