Hi,

Sorry for beying passive (that sounds so damn GAY  Huh ).
I was and am being passive because i am the only culprit to being scammed as i was. Everyone warned me.
I do have to thank MXRider and MrTeal for being so berserker and zealots trying to get their money back. Thanks to that, we now know details of the scammer, and today i pressed charges at the police. If anything, i'll give him a very hard time Wink

Anyway, thanks znort987 for trusting me. I will give you feedback as you asked me to, just give me more time Cheesy

I'm actually very surprosed how passive people are with this matter. Most of them only post oncr or twice but send PMs. Although I understand that people feel embarrased or are too angry to say anything publicly.

I still think we or at least some of the guys in germany should organize a rescur party for our hardware and BTC. Many guys should go to his home and demand all the BTC and stuff. Like I've mentioned I'm ready to pay whoever gets my hardware and ships it to me. At least 25BTC, probably more if I get everything.

Plus Anice has been posting like crazy trying to find out if he's ever going to get his hardware, ever since Powercoiner/Dexter disappeared.

Oh wait, no he hasn't.

Oh no. I'm not accusing anice. I just told how people can track the BTCs to be sure about anice.

All paid signature campaigns should be banned.
Who gave the loan to anice, post the BTC address and we can see what we can find out from blockchain.info.
I believe the loan was made by znort987.  Also note that the loan is not even overdue yet.  It is not due until Mar 9.

Edit:  also note that AniceInovation is still active on the forums as of today.

Looking at their posts before and after the loan, including this one:

At the moment i have to pay a loan, but still asking if someone is offering any of the things i want for a future deal!

Lead me to believe it is not a scam.  Also, they claim to have a pretty powerful rig so, assuming that is not a lie, they should be able to eventually pay off the loan no matter what.

Was the post in the video card thread supposed to be a joke ? ....I still don't understand it completely.

Great fantasy give me your dop i need this also.

so i´m Dexter , AniceInovation , Powercoiner

can somebody bit more?

Then Maged posted this:

Powercoiner == Dexter

I seriously hope the lender gets his funds returned as per agreement, because this would really suck if the above was not in fact a joke and truly was a confession.

And how did you realised that? I would like to know as to not be decieved next time Wink

Just a hunch.  Powercoiner finally breaks out of newbie status and makes a beeline to the Marketplace to see 5850s.  Anice finally breaks out of newbie status and makes a beeline to the Lending section asking for a handout to buy some of the 5850s.  Another account fresh out of newbie status claims to have received the cards, ostensibly to lend some degree of legitimacy to Powercoiner's ad.  It's a perfect storm of scams.

UH??? You dreaming ??

Aniceinovation: Date Registered:    July 26, 2011, 12:00:36 AM <--- out of newbie status???

PS: Yes, they might be the same person, but it doesn't seem that your line of thought is the way to reach the conclusion you reached

Dudes, I guess it doesn't matter if the OP was scammed by whoever he sent the BTC. It shouldn't interfere with his ability to repay the loan.

I think that the OP and Powercoiner are the same person.

Yeah, those BTC to Powercoiner are almost certainly gone. I would be shocked if we're able to recover any of them.

Someone in another thread suggested a lender acting as the escrow. It would be ideal in this case.  Of course, it would need to be a lender of some reputation.

also ask if he accepts escrow.

+1

Then of course, is the escrow safe?

Consider
 - http://BTCrow.net

Charges just 1% and provides dispute arbitration.

They have had only good reviews (though, oddly, none recently)

I do understand the lack of trust in the person selling the material.
No matter the outcome of the deal, i will pay the bitcoins lended.
Its just a matter of paying them faster with the new rig, or slower with the rigs i have.

We're just a suspicious bunch.  Sometimes we're looking for the next interesting scam, sometimes a reason to do or not do something.  The arrangements here require a heightened degree of caution because of the issues observed over time around fake deals, and deals that go bad.  You also need to remember that typically a 90% payback rate is break-even and that the lending section is still fairly new.

And powercoiner's email is [email protected]. I doubt he uses the name powercoiner everywhere, which means he made the email specifically for this site.

Noted, watching.  Extended a couple of new loans yesterday so waiting for some funds to come back in before doing another one (a few days).  The point already made above suggest caution on all sides.

You do realize that Powercoiner is barely out of Newbie status and makes a beeline to the Marketplace with 5850s.  So you're going to drop  nearly $700 on his cards?  Brilliant.

And anybody who lends you the coins... even brilliantar!11!1oneone1

Hello,

I have closed a deal with powercoiner: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/wts-sapphire-radeon-hd-5850-xtreme-64012
I bought his rig + 5 HD5850 for 180 BTCs.

I only have 17 BTC, but am expecting a good amount from Clipse's pool today or tomorrow.
I make something like 11 BTC per day.

I am here asking for a loan of 150 BTC, to be paid 160 in 15 days.

Reputation i don't have much, only bought a card to nelisky, but i have been seen hashing at 16GH at the now defunct A1pool.
ATM am hashing at Clipse's pool.

Anyone interested?
