Please lock this thread - I'm not interested in selling the rigs at this point. If anything, I'll be buying more if anyone has any to sell...

Only you have that power...I'm serious about the tip though.

I wouldn't bother. isoneguy is rarely anything but a slow kid complaining about price on things he never buys.

I would have bought most of this from you.

You refused a fair offer on the premise that someone...(New Zealand ring a bell?) would pay an obscene price for your devices.

So I went and bought from someone else, a more mathematically profitable deal.

Turns out it was a nearly instant ROI for me...I have to thank you, as your greed actually made me wealthier.

Give us a bitcoin addy and I'll tip you for services rendered.

$6 per MH is pretty expensive, basically 5 btc, i could sell it for 4 btc, but not less, you need to cosider not only dash but other coins that can be mined and give huge profit from time to tim

For 4BTC you better suck me off the entire time the miner is in transit.

Nobody wants to buy your vapid dreams.

are you joking? i made 0.8 already with my a-900 giant in a month, it's not worth less than 4 btc at all

I emailed them and they said
Quote from: Baikal
Sales start next week

Take that however you'd like.

OP, if you would still like to sell these...I'll pay as much as $3.75 per MH...which is the price Baikal is offering them for.

In 2 weeks Baikal will have stock so good luck with your overpriced miners

And you think one-off customers will get any of those units Smiley cute. Let me know how that works out for ya. (outside of the obvious fact that I doubt 'kncfun' has any idea of when they will get stock)

Just emailed them. They replied with "Hi. I think it is true".

Take that however way you want

Um, they're revamping their site pending the release of a 300mh cube...

Maximum order is 2...And if you've conversed with Baikal previously you'd know that this crap about them not selling to one-off customers is a blatant lie. They are actually trying to keep the "Whales" from holding a monopoly on their gear...which is so very nice of them. It's like they don't want repeat customers.

Normally I'd play devil's advocate to whatever KNC says, but this time I'm pretty damn sure he's spot on....

Anyone who pays attention and has critical thinking skills would know that they'll have stock "soon". So it's pretentious as fuck to promote such a high markup when it's clearly just an attempt to rip off and/or take advantage of the less educated(aka noobs).

I had more than a few people ask me how I could support my asking price so I decided to help out a bit and run the numbers:

https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/calculator/dash?HashingPower=3.150&HashingUnit=GH%2Fs&PowerConsumption=800&CostPerkWh=.096

ROI at UNDER 9 months. Remember, there is no impending flood of X11 hashrate coming from a new batch of rigs...

OP updated with final pricing! $6/MH

I enjoy reading the back and forth - thanks for the lively discussion.

Having said that I will only sell all the miners in one transaction. Given some market adjustment, I've decided to make one last effort to sell at ~$7/MH or round figures ~$21k. I'll be taking them off the market on Sunday the 9th and ride the wave of DASH which is now back up over $75/coin.

Thanks to everyone who has made offers so far... and let's see if we have some iron ball miners left around here.

Regards,

Should have taken my offer Smiley

I'd pay the original retail price on mini + shipping and no more.

Same for a quad.

Ha ha ha. It's like half the people on this forum are slightly 'touched' when it comes to mining. Look at Dash profitability before making joke-offers. Dash price is down 50% since absolute peak, but diff is also down 40% so a single A-900 still makes $1000/month drawing $50 worth of power, and your suggestion is the seller sell it to you at 2 months ROI..

An A-900 earns $500 not 1k

Far closer to $1k. Don't just punch numbers into a calculator without calculating the average difficulty yourself.

You clearly don't actually own an A-900, do you even mine?

We can all enter numbers into a calculator. But if you believe the numbers are exact you're dumb...

1. Don't be dumb
2. Be lucky

On a side note...what he wants for these would buy you more passive income if you bought the equivalent value in pretty much any other type of asic.

Sweet child, you call someone dumb and your counter argument is 'we can all enter numbers into a calculator'... Please don't try if you think that's how it works.

Perhaps if you are going to have an opinion, learn about difficulty averages and the swings in Dash diff.

It's very probable that baikal will release new miners within 9 months, extending ROI quite a bit

FYI, Baikal can't produce any larger amounts of ASIC at any speed at all. Their last batch for around 100 units, that was 4+ weeks ago and they don't even know themselves when they will get new miners in stock.

Great info ! Thanks  Grin

Price & difficulty is dropping. Please try to pay attention in class. I am making the same money now as I did when dash hit $110 at 35-40% higher difficulty.

Irrelevant to the point. Your miners are very over priced

So I know there are some of you out there wondering what my bottom line price is - if you want to do something other than kick the tires, drop me a PM with an offer and lets see if we can work out a deal. obviously I'm willing to bargain as I mentioned in the OP...

For those with interesting trades, I'd specifically be looking for rigs, preferably hosted at a good secure spot. I'd like to branch back out a bit and do some scrypt mining again... not so interested in bitcoin miners though.

Wow, you aren't kidding with that markup. You know you can order them for 300$/1200$/2350$ directly from China right?

can you?

have you tried in the last 3 weeks or more?

thanks!

Yeah, mine are on the way, but i had to contact the original supplier off alibaba, and the minis are too expensive, i'm guessing they're EOL or something, 400-500$ ea. Better off buying the A900 at that price. Baikal also get some stock... but it doesnt last long and their site is kinda shit at reporting stock tbh.

Either you are 'fake news' or you got lucky and managed to buy the last few units from a third party. Baikal has absolutely zero stock left and no ETA on new miners.

Actually, they have no stock at all.

You bought from a 3rd party vendor off alibaba at a markup, (original supplier) not sure what that means for that site, as baikal is the original supplier.... and on the way...hope they arrive soon , as some people are saying that they can order, but the (alibaba, or any other 3rd party site) website shows min 2 weeks waiting, maybe they are waiting for the original manufacturer to make more?

Usually if they have that displaying,  it means they have no stock and are pre-ordering in hopes for the customer.

Baikal's website shows no stock and if it does it's false as they are OUT like the rest.

So buying any dash miner now would have to be from a 3rd party, or someone selling them here or on another forum or slack.

thanks!

Hello, i paid less. You forgot about the factories...?

You're right on one count though, i asked for a quote after my last message to show you, but they're out of stock now. Also do your homework better. Smiley

No stock for foreseeable future and preference delivery to former volume buyers. You won't get any from Baikal.

Actually PinIdea has some USB asics.

8.2MH isn't anything to scoff at right now. Sure it's not the gravy train but it's still something.

They require you to purchase a minimum of 5, but I'll circumvent that for you.

If you just want to try one out, I've got a US group buy going to allow for the purchase of single miners.

I talked to Pinidea, their miners suck and draw 2x Baikal and mine only x11. And they don't have stock. I'd buy Baikal all day.

By all means - go ahead with a 4U, 1000W monster that gets you 384MH. Doesn't mine anything other than X11 either. Buck, you know better than to troll my threads  Wink

My pockets aren't that deep, but if you need to get rid of one of those baikal mini's in a hurry...Let me know.

Absolutely no hurry at all... in all honesty, I'm reluctant to sell even at this price given I don't know when or if Baikal is going to the foundry. When I found that I couldn't find a single unit in stock anywhere, I realized I might not be a buyer anymore.

Hit me up if you don't see any action here on the thread next week.
