Why are you even wasting time with bounties advertising fake projects that will pay you in their useless tokens that have no market value at the time? You are only given the tokens after a long time in the market, most especially after the dump.

Most of the projects advertised have no future or clear goal, vision, or roadmap.

I have just checked the website of bountyhive. And it seems that they are not accepting new bounty hunters anymore. I believe the reason is some people are doing it as a job, they create multiple social media accounts to do bounties.

Hello guys, I'm not sure if anyone is ever going to read this since it's been more than 3 years but I just found this topic and I genuinely wanted to give a full update on everything that happened since then.

First of all, while we have kept the Bountyhive.io website up and will be keeping it up most likely indefinitely, we have done so as a memory because we had a lot of fun building that and a lot of cool people we've met during our time building the platform. The platform will not be moving forward as it is, but it has been replaced by something which we think is considerably better.

Second of all, to answer some of the comments in this previous thread (I know it's been 3 years but I just saw this). You were right, over time the quality of projects reduced. And honestly you guys have no idea how much we've fought to protect users because of this. If anyone still remembers Kora Network, they literally refused to pay the bounty and we spent about $20K on a PR campaign all over the internet, published all of it, records etc etc and then they tried to pay us less etc and we refused entirely until they paid out the entire bounty and we paid that to users.

Anyway, I'm here to say that while we did wind Bountyhive down, we only did that because we also realised some of the critique that we were often getting and wanted to build something cooler. And we did just that I think. We built HYVE. HYVE was launched in ±Oct 2020. Since then it's been listed on exchanges like Kucoin, Gate, MEXC, Bittrex etc, and we've gone through several platform interactions and are still updating it constantly.

HYVE is as you might have guessed, a better version of Bountyhive. First of all, everything is escrowed through smart-contracts. Second of all, there are no untradeable tokens currently being used on HYVE, nor do we plan on doing so in the future. HYVE only accepts about ±70 tokens as payment methods for tasks/jobs and offers right now but we're trying to quickly add support for all major tokens, i.e. top 500. We also support 4 blockchains: ETH, BSC, Polygon and Fantom. Soon we will add a 5th one. This means you can create a task/job/offer etc on each one of those chains individually as we've deployed our smart-contract infra on all of them.

To be perfectly honest, there's still an incredible amount of work left to be done even with HYVE, we're now working on v3 of the app which should be live in ±6-8 months and will include a ton of new things including POAP certificates and accreditations, reviews, a better chat system, lower fees, more chains, more tokens, a simplified UI and some other stuff as well.

Anyway I honestly just wanted to come here and say I'm really happy that Bountyhive got to help some people and I am genuinely sorry that some of you were disappointed with the quality of the projects towards the end, we were too and that is the reason why we decided to close things down as we figured it was the only reasonable thing to do. But we have built something better, which should at least to a large extent not be plagued by those same type of issues.

For now you cannot do bounties per-se yet on HYVE but we are already working on the implementation for this, it's just that the way a bounty works is slightly harder to achieve on-chain because of the large number of transactions involved & fees, but we'll make it work!

   I never liked Bountyhive site! I give advantage to managers here on forum, now after so much time we
can say it's a traditional way of doing bounties.
   There are couple sites focused on airdrops! I tried one of them and after two weeks and many airdrops I
decided to not go there anymore! Waste of time and energy is my experience.
   I believe there are people who have profitable experience with these sites, but I am not one of them!

Bounty hive people (or founders rather) seem to still be active and if you see their website it has been recently updated,,, but otherwise I cannot see how they can survive in these days with this kind of market. ICOs are still popular but they do not like the old style of bounty hunters and the bad quality of those who choose bounty hive,,, what do you think?

So any update about Bountyhive?

I tried bountyhive, I tried to participate in social network bounty and after couple months I didn`t get anything for my work. I tried to speak with their support, I send couple mails, I contacted them on telegram. Except their words how they will see what`s there all about they didn`t do nothing to help me. I hate when some service have shitty support, that affect my experience and my opinion about that service. I will never use them again, even they turn to be one of the best services. Maybe some people have good experience with bountyhive, but I`m not one of them, use them at your own risk.

From what i see is they do that because they can accept a lot of platform of ICOs and not only Ethereum token. Maybe with that it is good because there are more option of project and we wouldn't confused anymore on how input wallet after bounty end for other platform beside Ethereum.

Many bounty hunters used their service, not me, it was too populated and I have heard hunters got lower rewards because there have been too many of them. Their thread is not active and I can't find whether they manage new projects and they are accused for scam, maybe they are closing doors.

Well you do have the point though which is valid because if things are slowly trying to pack up like dead links and channels are already unavailable then you can already presume that they are already on the verge of closing up their platform.So far there are still some projects are listed and running so i cant point out if they are actually had the plans or just planning to shut off directly one day without any proper warnings or alerts?

maybe this is a sign that bountyhive will be closing soon, because there is no reason that they closed all their social media and now the telegram chat group is not very active

I can't see the chat group active now and it's not allowed to post messages in the chat group. I couldn't contact Silviu and Andy on telegram too regarding Refine Medium bounty so I contacted them on the website and got a reply so they are active but it's getting fishy to have closed down the chat group. Is bountyhive going to close down soon?

its not rumor i think because you already said that thier social media accounts were closing   . that might be a sign of thier exit  . you know there were other simillar projects that done simillar things were they dont give a proper announcement but they are only quite and never come back  or maybe bounty hive was only busy and cant post updates for a while . who knows  ? best thing you can do is to wait and dont loose hope if you really love and support them

So its still unclear about closure in regards to other new projects.So we do need some clarification to this one and if we dont get any sufficient proofs then this
kind of post is totally basing up with rumors.

It is just routine, you need those wallets to get tokens that are based on those blockchains. Bountyhive has not been very successful in hosting quality project lately- personal observation and rewards has in many cased be worthless. Hope things turn around pretty soon.

After reading the above whatsApp message i think they made the right decision, bountyhive is a platform that serve a number of project and have quite a number of hunters that do bounty for them, it will be detriment to hunters if they continue to support project that will yield nothing at the end of it all, since there are only few project in the market that are genuine it is better to apply caution while selecting, too bad this high rate of bad project is realy affecting a lot of platforms, i hope things will turn around soon.

hope bountyhive will soon add quality projects again. indeed this year quite a lot of not-so-good projects were added to the bountyhive site. maybe they changed the telegram to avoid anger from the members who wrongly joined the project.

I have participated in several projects of bountyhive, and the results have been really satisfying. so I was calm enough to see this information, and hope that the bountyhive returns.

It is just an update so that more blockchains can work here. Nothing to worry about. Yes, they had a number of failed projects  but this year but, I have heard that they had pretty decent amount of rewards for many bounty hunters. So no need to stress it buddy.

Finally, I have got an ansert answer from Colorlessk through telegram that they are not closing bountihive right now. But they do not want to add projects that they know won't succeed. So its really good news for bountihive user.

Bountyhive was the best platform to join bounties, but now after that bounties do not do as good as before, bountyhive does not have much projects either. Some projects do not even do bounty because they think its a loss of money and waste of time. Maybe in time, we will see more projects and more bounties there. I would like that.

i dont think is this becuase of no project use the platform, but users do the bounties decrease .so there are only few participants join in there bounties and other factor is because of too many fraud project that has been listed there.

I don't really think they will close. I guess they are just upgrading their software or system so that they can be paid on time. Bountyhive is always on the action when it comes to bounty projects though they are not that high payer they are a good payers. Bountyhive will be on the cryptocurrency new project as always and I cannot say that the humor about them closing is really true. If I have some time to research it then I will reply again on this thread.

Most likely, the platform is closing, because for a long time there were no projects in this platform, and it’s understandable why, the cryptocurrency market simply died and now almost all companies are scammers and liers, so the time has come to close this platform, maybe they will open again their platform when the altcoin growth begins, only of course, if the growth of altcoins will ever be sometime.

I think it’s just an update to the system. Every project now and then goes through such updates to make sure the system is running smoothly and cleanly. I think there is nothing to worry about the project being closed or something.

Most of these teams that are handling different bounties are ending up like this. And one group of this is needmoney's group. If you know him. Probably you can relate to what I am saying.

These groups are just accepting bounties even though some of it are ending up being a scam. Most scenarios are like these.

the telegram is still there, it's just that they changed their function not to chat, but only to update the information. however, until now there has been no updated information about the project list, or anything else. until now, I've only been in the local telegram group, and even the people there are confused.

I think the admin of bountyhive needs to make an announcement regarding this. however, I'm still waiting for the good news from bountyhive. Too bad if a business like that is closed.

Seems the crowdfunding site has closed business. Its Twitter page is probably deactivated and website is no longer online. Have you inquired that from them on their telegram group?  The group is not available too? .
 I guess they have closed business. No project will be listed anymore.

There is no spreadsheet so it is difficult to detect,in my career doing bounty work i have never joined bountyhive platftom,so the news of closing the bountyhive platform is not sad.I am more interested in companies that do the Bounty program at the Bitcointalk .

even though they have a small salary, I believe the BountyHive platform has helped many people, especially the bounty hunter, it is unfortunate if they close the platform

Yes, telegram group is closed, but their telegram channels are still active. Bountyhive is good platform. It's normal that there were no new bounties recently as bountyhive always try find the best ones. Yes, there were some dead projects eventually, but still most of bounties were worth it to participate.

The telegram group is indeed closed now, but I don't think that means that Bountyhive will not have any new projects listed
Right now it's very difficult to find a good bounty, I think that's why the bountyhive telegram chat was closed because it was to avoid spam, and the projects listed there were almost finished.

I also used to be among the most fond of the bountyhive platform, but now it has stopped and it's better to bounty on the bitcointalk forum but until now there is still a bounty running even if the slots are always fulfilled.

I think it is just updated from the system for its members to ensure the wallet updates, Otherwise there no such type of website closing sign at the moment, bounthive ia good platform for bounty-hunters.

I am not sure about this but I believe there are still many trusted places to find Crypto Bounty Campaign, but of course it’s not possible to be 100% accurate. And that’s why we just need to work hard and hope things work out for the best. If we think too much or go beyond a limit, it will just not help. I am not so keen with Bounty Campaigns, but I still know that there is a lot that you are able to gain through if it’s with the right project.

Ive been active sometime on their bounty before, and I can say they have a very systematic approach to bounty campaign. When I read this post, I thought its really the end of their wonderful platform but based on most reply here I think they just somehow going on a system update or some changes. Anyway, will confirm facts and details on this when I drop on some social site of them.

This is certainly a bad omen for dedicated bounty management services. I'm not a BountyHive member but I certainly had done some bounty work for 0xbounty and BountyMiner. So far both are working, but I haven't been paid yet. 

I did not hear any news about bountyhive, because my friend played a lot there and if there is the latest news always say. that's why I know.
now the bounty service platform is a bit lonely, many projects are delaying launching because market conditions are bearish, and many projects are launching but not making campaigns because they trust IEO more,
so, this actually affects not only the bountyhive, but the entire bounty service platform, and of course it is threatened to close like many exchanger which began to close.

Bounty0x is still very much around. I have know then for quite a while and they have stuck through thick and thin. I am not surprised about Bountyhive shut down because I saw it coming. Their team couldn't comment quality projects anymore and the have given up because apparently hey can't do anything about that. I always think the best bounty management individuals are on the Bitcointalk platform and with this platform reputation, it will always remain the best to finding rewarding bounties. I am sure that even if Bounty0x closes tomorrow too, hunters wouldn't really be worried as well

A lot of folks use bountyhive. The last time I  checked their website, I could not find new campaign. So I am still lost on what is actually happening. Nothing is yet tone divulged by the team, because a formal announcement is yet to be made in that regards.

The first and the last reason why I do leave into this platform is the total amount of tokens that you should possibly be received been deducted way too overboard.
They are getting too big amounts on total stakes or tokens you should able to earn on using up this platform.Yes, it do give out convenience but in exchange
where your reward would be badly be having that reduction.I did make some comparison and I do see the difference.Its better to go out on solo bounty hunting rather
than joining up automated platforms.

I think that bounty hives tried its possible best to get very reliable projects to register but the thing is beyond their power and I think they also allowed greed too to enter them by allocating more of those rewards for themselves, since they are the intermediary between the project and the hunter in terms of both the project and payment.

I would not blame those who are not bothering to add their wallet again because they have actually had many projects, I started with bounty hives and they were paying until we started having lots of failed project like the general one we have in altcoin section that individuals are handling by themselves, and I think I got tired too and cold towards bounty hives which I cannot remember when last I even visited the platform.

there is no exact information. but it is unlikely that this platform will be closed, too many people know about it and use it. most likely after such incident there will be a reform. increase security and change a few developers

ICO sales are not as imagined, unsatisfactory results and even not achieving targets have made them stop and fail.
I have also been a bounty participant on the platform, but until now I have not been paid.
The platform must be more selective to collaborate with gift projects, so that participants and potential investors do not feel disadvantaged by it.

The General obsession with ico has passed, so we see what happens with bountyhive, bounty0x and etc.

I think this is just an update to the platform and nothing to worry about as of sort. Last year there were many failed projects, but this year has been a sort of success with many projects. They have had good way with things so they are far from getting close.

Bounties turn out to be scams in the last year, even if they are not scam, they pay very very less amounts than they promise to bounty hunters.
Thats why many bounty hunter quit their works and stop doing these works.
 So this is the reason websites like bountyhive, bounty0x etc are not as succesful as before. It is because of the quality of projects.

If you ask me, they're both garbage. All they do is exploit people and get the real prize themselves. I stopped joining both of them a long time ago and I can say I'm quite happy. I think it makes more sense to join the bounty held at Bitcointalk.

I strongly agree that bounty participants should move from the bountyhive platform because they do not care about the fate of bounty participants who have spent a lot of time promoting their projects, even though I have never participated in a bountyhive project, but I agree that bounty participants want to move from the platform bountyhive, especially lately the project of bountyhive no longer appears, and it is a good moment to move to another place.

This platform is still active? I think it has ended up as a competitor's platform for example, bounty guru, I wonder why this platform is still in demand, even though in recent years a good project from bounty only existed in the mid 2017 to early 2018 and the rest were many failed and scam projects going in there, I think it's time the participants there are thinking of moving because I think this platform does not care about the fate of the participants.

I do not think the bountyhive service is planning to close. There are simply no projects right now that would like to take advantage of such services. A reminder to add wallets is just a reminder, fulfilling their obligations to bounty hunters.

bountyhive will not do that in a short time but to be shut down due to the lack of the demand from the legit ico to held its marketing service through bountyhive will be the main reason for sure.

A lot of tokens are distributed by bounty hive worth nothing and i participated in the old bounty even if this reached a lot of money but it keeps disappointing. There will be a conflict between this service with the ico creator consider ico creator has a chance to run its service without need the service from marketing platform service like bounty hive. This problem will decrease the chances for bounty hive to get clients.

It's been a month and no new campaign has come while more and more new IEO bounty has already made in the bounty section of bitcointalk.

We can determine the future of the bounty hive platform based on these indicators.

I think it's natural that they advise their users to immediately update their wallet addresses. it's just that, I see that at this time there aren't so many more projects that they handle. bountyhive has always been one of the most trusted places to look for bounties. however, I also feel that its development has declined since they changed their chat system on telegram. close or not, we will find out soon enough. at the moment only 1 program is still running on bountyhive namely Lucky project. after that, we can see its development.

The only problem is that the projects that use the Stellar and EOS platforms seem to know a little bit but I've seen them pay well. VTX is such an example for bounty participants to receive their rewards should you use an EOS wallet, but the problem is still with the token on your wallet, as well as Stellar, it seems. But I remember when I started as a bountyhive in ICO quantities and then making a living there.

I also see that now a days Some Bounty Hunter are so greedy.When Bounty End everyone all time ask talegram channel when Bounty Distribution.
For this isue every Project Manager are trouble to answer.

I second your observation I knew it will come to this, these bounty platforms were set up in the heydays of ICO but now that there are fewer and fewer ICO and IEO they have no usage now, I'm afraid that they will soon close shop unless new legit projects will come out and get their service.

I have an account on Bounty hunters and some bounty platforms and the projects are very scarce in fact I seldom login on my dashboards anymore.

bountyhive is not closed but its hard to see a new project or bounty on bountyhive i think its bcos of the bad result of ico and most of project not need bounty manager and such they only need IEO nowdays so bounty site like bountyhive will be dead soon sadly

Yup I think bounty hive is closing as well, almost all of their projects didn't success on this market or turns out to be scam. I looked at their telegram group and they restrict people to write on those chat. Its so sad that one of the good platform in bounties is closing but I think it will help bitcointalk in some ways.

It should be closed. Because no bounty can pay for bounty hunters right now

Just because they are asking wallet where to send rewards there is a hint that they are closing, I don't see any hint that they are closing shop, if they are going to close, they will announce it in their newsletter and just because they do not have a new bounty project they are going to close for good, this happens to all bounty platform, it's not an isolated case.

I'm also waiting for task in my bountyhunters.io dashboard and it's been over a month that they are not giving us, but there is no announcement of closing.

I do not see any notification on their site about them shutting down.  I believe they are just conveying a message about their ultimatum on the bounty that were not claimed by the qualified participants.  I see this as a good thing because they are willing to extend their bounty distribution as much as possible and give those participants their payment. 


I guess they have learned their lesson about this and probably they will inspect the project more and see if it is legit or scam.

It's been a long time since I joined a bountyhive after getting an unfavourable reward in the last project. Such bounty platforms do have advantages and disadvantages, the advantages are usually limited participants, and you do not need to do weekly reports, more simple I think. But for some reason projects supported by bountyhives ended up being less fun. I think if a project booms again, it will restore its popularity.

Sometimes I wonder which of these bounty platforms is better in terms of service delivery (bountyhive.io and Bounty0x) but I do hope Bountyhive remains active because its needed to offer healthy competition to bounty0x else we may start having shitty projects from Bounty0x soon.

If there's an official statement from them that they are doing that because soon they are about to close then that's probably the real reason why they are doing it. But I haven't seen any announcement on their website after looking at this thread.

And that's why I don't think that they are closing soon, there's still one project that's currently active on their platform. To clarify that chat, ask that person who sent the message and ask it also directly to bountyhive's official support.

OP just want to clarify things bro, each individual have different interpretation on a statement so it's better to seek for clarification .

I have worked for Bountyhive before, you have to input your wallet as part of registration but there are also projects that requires wallet address after the bounty campaign which i think the reason for the announcement. Bountyhive will give tokens to their hunters, the question is it is enough? That we don't know.

If you are conversant with the way bountyhive handles or manages it's bounty in relation to how bounty hunters are treated, you will know that they are fair and truthful in their distribution, however, the only issue I have about them is that, they seems not to be professional enough in choosing the type of bounty they manage. Some of the bounties they managed failed, some were scam, although not outrightly the fault of the bountyhive management.

Bountyhive is a good bounty platform and they support various projects from different blockchain, if you are been asked for other wallets address is apart from eth address then you should know that they support other projects blockchain apart from erc20 based projects

I think its just a general information for some projects where you have to provide EOS wallets or other blockchain wallets. However I did not hear any news about closing of bountyhive eventhough they are going slow these days with adding new projects.

Well, that's just the way bountyhive wants its bounty hunters to be safe and delivered on time. This is one of the very clever ways because it will make your profile more complete and more detailed. Meanwhile, every time you join any project, you will not need to fill out the wallet anymore to not waste time. So don't worry. Go ahead and continue your work.

I heard that many projects from bountyhive are now dead, i thought it was a different story on there since a friend told me he earned 2k from a bounty on bountyhive platform, the last time i wanted to give a try i noticed that they don't have spreadsheet so no way to track my work progress

I don't understand the reason why you ask this question, it is not that they default on any of their payment, the reason the tokens wasn't sent was because those participants did not input their address and how can you sent tokens to someone without address. There is no sign of bountyhive closing down

Bountyhive doesn't shut down, but I can't say bountyhive was very fair to bounty hunters.
To date, few Bountyhive campaigns have really made money for its users. Bounty0x likewise doesn't save a lot of money to its users. Of course, if $ 20 for 3 months work is good money for you, things change.

It is some sort of changes for better security of the participants.
Like this in BITCOINTALK, we mostly put our Ethereum address or ERC-20 wallet address on our location.
This will prove that the wallet address is really belong to the user, because there are some pretenders here.

in my opinion, it's reasonable to close because colorlessk (Tudor) the owner of this platform is not the same as the previous tudor because there are many projects from there that they don't filter or more precisely many projects are indicated scam for example I remember Neutro, it is a scam project but they continue to handle it on their platform and this makes the participants doing the task just waste their time.

It's an upgrade to accommodate other wallets aside Eth. If I remember correctly last year early this year they had room for only erc-20 tokens the blockchain has developed Dapps are deployed on other chains aside eth there's need to accommodate them.

Until they release the announcement, we can only speculate, they have a newsletter if they are going to close, they will announce it to us, I also have an account on bountyhunters.io and it's been months that there's no task there, but they are not closing shop, it's because they lack of new ICO to promote.

Can you sincerely mention to the house these projects with significant success? Most of the bounties that I participated on their platform where just a huge waste of time and resources but, the past has  gone. No justification given or be giving will be enough for me to admits that; their platform really work well like other bounties platforms. Several times, they ban my account because of me asked questions that borders on projects in their platform.

Its high time they close up because of their shit projects be promoted on the platform. There have been unpaid payment of tokens with several team projects which where been promoted, the platform suck and I went my own way.

How did you understand from this massage that the bountyhive has troubles? I believe they just wanted to give the last chance to bounty participants to add their wallets to receive rewards, because some tokens like EOS require their own wallet.

I have never used this platform to work with bounty campaigns. all the time I got good rewards working only with this forum. and if the bountyhive will be closed, it will be better for us to work

Since the beginning of the launch of the bountyhive I have participated in several projects that are quite good and are indeed paid for. That was when ICO was still the main choice for selling tokens and raising funds. But when ICO started leaving many bounty programs that didn't work. Even though the bountyhive still pays, the project is unclear and tokens cannot be sold. If you don't get paid, you can contact the bountyhive admin in the telegram group.

I have joined the bountyhive a number of times to participate in several campaigns, but nothing made money when I worked there, so I left the bountyhive and looked for bounties in the forum.

Requiring users to add their wallet addresses and not seeing a newly posted campaign ATM don't mean that the platform will be closed. For sure they require it for faster payment processing when the campaign ends. Also, I don't think it would be a problem because it's easy to add an address and you'll just do it once.

I never liked those platforms as they have shady bounty programs and most of the projects don't even get over the ICO program so why would I bother with something that don't have value ? The real bounties were always on bitcointalk. I participated in 2017 on bountyhive and never got the tokens so I would flag that platform as uncertain where spammers , multi account owners are joining to get over 80% of the bounties and also the project itself have their own members joining,all of this makes bountyhive a non-trusted bounty platform.

Were they really paying?  I tried joining the platform to see if there was a campaign for me but I still end up looking for the campaigns information in the forum than just relying on the information given by bountyhive.  Bounty platforms can be good if the projects promoted there are just legit enough, they are the ones suppose to check if the projects are scam or not.

Similiar problem has Bounty0X platform, when they manage many diffrent projects that are built on many diffrent blockchains, so after the end of bounty campaign they need to collect additionally wallets and that is a problem, many bouunty participants forget about it.

I think bountyhive on supports ethereum platform in the past but now upgraded to other tokens blockchain.

You do not only need to add your wallets, you also need to add some of your social media accounts for the expected bounties.

It's normal for users to update their wallet, not all project are built on ethereum network. However, bountyhive blinded my eyes and made me promote dead coins. I regret ever knowing that platform as a bounty host before familiaring myself with this forum. Most of bountyhives tokens are dead project and Tudor knows that.

After signing up on bountyhive platform you need to insert all the necessary wallet address that you want to use to receive all funds from bounties, some bounty projects are running on eos blockchain and stellar blockchain too so you have to add eos,stellar and eth wallet address, belief me bountyhive is far from closing anytime soon

It's just a update from their system, so that more projects on blockchains other than Ethereum can work here. I agree that they have many failed projects last year, but in this year they have quite a lot of projects with significant rewards for hunters.

I think it was just a routine to ensure that participants have a their necessary wallets added to bountyhive platform as many people just sign up and don't care about inputing wallets making them loose rewards. Not sure there's anything to worry about
