Hashnest seems like the only cloudmining that is actually decent. It made me a bunch of profit back in the S9 days so I stocked up on some s15 and z11 there now

It's more like quasi-cloudmining, because you can sell your hashrate back on the market whenever you want (and can buy more hashrate there, and the price is dynamic and changes due to demand). and when the electric cost is more than the profit of the miner for 10 days, is when the contract ends, and for every machines worth of hashrate (like 13.5th/s for s9) you get that miner back if you pay for shipping (if you had 27th/s you could get 2x s9's shipped to you)

hosting and cloud mining is 2 totally different thing Smiley
I was against cloud mining for sure , but at the same time most of my asics was hosted Wink

Why are you against cloud mining? I understand your, sure, but also think about the advantages that you get here: you do not spend money on the electricity and you do not have to buy expensive equipment.

Are you sure you are not paying for electricity when you are cloud mining ?  Grin
Im pretty sure the electricity prices are included in your cloud mining contract and you actually paying for the expensive hardware also as a monthly fees Wink

From my view,  if you are reading a lot on this forum , or just all over the internet, you should know by now, Most Cloud Mining Companies are Scams !!!

Great Advice for you :
If you just want bitcoins or any other coins, don’t bother with cloud mining. Just find an exchange and buy some coins

( This can be only way for you, when you dont have to pay for electricity and for a expensive hardware  Grin, but if i would be you, i would still spend some money on a hardware wallet ( yeah i know.. its a expensive hardware Wink  Grin ) )
OR build, buy some real "mining equipment" and forget about cloud

Cloud mining never worked, the concept was good but the implementation were terrible, many websites popped out and they did only one thing, after sometime they ran away with people's money.

Hosting on the other side for mining is a normal procedure but I think it is worthy only when you have a lot of mining rigs that when you host them somewhere usually they also manage them for you.

I remember couple of years ago people were against hosting (cloud) mining because allot of times the company offered just ran away with the hardwarde XD.
But innosilicon is offering to host their own miners at their place. (minimum order is 50)

What are the pro's and con's of this ? Can't really think of bad things ?

By the way talking about this miner (https://www.innosilicon.com/html/t3-39t-miner/index.html)
Really sounda like cloudmining when company offers you to buy their equipment and host in their place but of course these two are absolutely different things.
It's like hosting your servers in datacenter, pros are that they take care of your miners and possibly you can get good electricity rates too. cons - you have to pay some money because of this service.
There are a lot of companies which offer this service, check them and choose one which has good rates. good cooling system and security.

There is a lot of hosting companies available right now.
If you are located in the US , and try to avoid "The Greatest President" import taxes on Chinese hardware, your best option is hosting your miners and not importing them to the USA.

Innosilicon is looks like a great company with a good reputation.

Yeah totally true! cloud is = you have no machine. host = its your machine XD.

I always hosted in my own country at server parks but not importing the miners and leaving them there (also good for maintenance I guess/hope the down time of a broken machine would be really low)
