I would go for viabtc and bitcoin.com. been with those guy for some time now and the service is very transparent and support replies very fast. Genesis mining is legit too, but I would stay away from them. They're the less paying cloud mining pool. Anything else is a scam.

From what I have experience from cloud mining services, most of them are scamming site and very few are reliable. I will advise you in other not to bit your finger to just do research on how to go into mining your self and have hundreds percent control on your investment.

Exactly that's how ponzi scheme works mate and most of those mining services has gone through scamming those people who invested with them. Faucet mines like those at android free apps gave me hard time finding out their time consuming and worthless activities that never return any profit to me at all based on the experiences I had. You don't need to bit that finger to do research, because cloud mining is proven to be scam and not reliable nowadays.

It's not with the ponzi thing or something but cloudmining nowadays even we have lots of legit company running it today is not really profitable even with the current bitcoin price. The difficulty risen and I think even BTC1 amount of hashpower is not enough.

Better find other ways that really pays off even you have to worked for it on the long run.

Exactly! If people would calculate the profits upon investing at this kind of site, They will surely find out that they cannot get huge profit on this and dissapointment will come if they will continue to do so since this kind of business is kinda rigged and not indtended to be trusted with since most of the cloudmining sites are scam.

I've actually come across a cloud mining site which seems legitimate , there are users there for over 5 years that confirmed payments .
And the best part about it you can mine for free , basically it has a faucet , from where u can collect 1 time per day , think it gives around 200 satoshi , and with this you can purchase hashrate , and if you login daily you receive 1 dogecoin bonus per day , so basically you can try it without any risk.
I deposited there 30 dogecoins , got like 0,3 Ghs , and lets say with this 0.3 Ghs I get around 230 satoshi per month , but right now I'm mining dogecoins so I can reinvest them.
You can mine around 24 different coins , and honestly the feedback I got from this site was really good .
If anyone wants to try PM me.

Hi guys , I'm fairly new , can you please tell me some cloud mining websites that are legit or at least you believe they will not run after 6 months with all the investments ?

I am not looking to get rich over night like 90 % of the newbies like me Smiley , I am just looking for for a cloud mining site to make a small investment and to see how it goes , I am well aware that it can be months , even a year until I can break even on the ROI.
Have a nice day everyone!
If I became you then I would not spend the energy to invest in cloud mining. Investing in cloud mining will only waste our time and money. Because almost all cloud mining will only end with SCAM. Already many people who prove it and they finally regret with everything that has been done. I'm telling you this because I've been a victim and I do not want a lot of people to feel like me !!!

https://www.hashnest.com/ is legit since they are owned by bitmain (antpool) but i don't suggest trying cloud mining specially now because the difficulty is very high and the chance of you getting ROI is almost zero

I can see on their site that all their mining power is sold out. (I'm not registered and that's what I can see from visiting the site). Is that correct?

Yes their "shop" is sold out, but you can buy from the "market" link on the website.

Current price is 0.000068 or so.    Multiply by 12500 and that is the same as buying "One S9". from the "shop" - except the price will work out to be something different due to market demand. (and also reflecting the fact that they are presently "sold out" at the shop - so this is the only way you can buy in)

To get your head into it, go buy some tiny quantity and watch it for a few weeks and you'll eventually get up to speed and can figure out what is what.

It's fun to watch and I'd say it is a good hobby.

Cloud Mining= Ponzi Scheme.
Do not trust any cloud mining site they will run with your money in the end, Maybe if you are the early investor, you can get ROI and have some profit but at the end they will surely run.
I don't think so that there is any trusted Cloud mining website, And no one is going to suggest you any site unless he owns it.
So, If you are looking to invest your money, try to invest in alt coins instead of investing in scam cloud mining sites.
I hope you understand.
I agree, even there are good service of cloud mining, it will be difficult until return of Investment on there, because as we know the difficulty of bitcoins is increasing every days also the maintenance of hardware miners is expensive. Put the funds in altcoins are good choice than invest in cloud mining service, it is more huge risk losing money than getting profit from there.

I would rather agree upon investing on altcoins rather than putting our money in cloudmining since we cannot truly earn huge profit on them eventhough we can call them legit but still we cannot get some money on them but if people is mining enthusiast well much better if they invest on their very own hardware's so that theirs a less chances for them to get scam and they can follow and upgrade their GPU's to earn more.

You may wanna try hashflare. Seems to be good site and currently paying. I have not invested much in it because im afraid of cloud miners as these sites get scamy over the time. I invested just 1 TH/s hashing rate and expected ROI is around 3-5 months depending upon the difficulty of network. I would suggest you to invest lower amounts and just to try out how it works. If you think it is good opportunity then only go for it. I have made my default settings of re-investment that is a feature which allows automated addition of hashing rates when your balance reaches to minimal preset. That is a good option if you just dont want to be around the website looking 100 times a day what or how much money you have mined. It takes time, so better leave to time only.

Have a nice day everyone!

Ask yourself this:

1.  What is one of the best miners available right now, what company makes that?

2.  Does that company also offer cloud mining?

3.  Check out the maintenance fees of the cloud miner, and compare to what the costs would be for you to buy hardware, ship it, install it, maintain it and pay the electric bill.

Answers here:
1.   S9, Bitmain
2.  Yes - Hashnest
3.  It's at about 20% maintenance fee - try to beat that by ordering the same hardware and running it wherever

Think hard and evaluate every possible aspect of mining and finance etc etc.    If you do that, there are some circumstances in which mining is a no brainer.

There are aspects you haven't thought about.
One is that mining is usually less profitable than buying coins directly, and even if it's by a few % more profitable somewhere, I don't think the risk is worth the profit.
If anything happens and you need money or move away from mining, selling coins would take you an hour tops and selling miners?

As far as cloud mining goes it usually freezes your money for a long time and in the end you'll get the same coins you would if you just bought them at a dip, like the one yesterday.

Risk is the biggest problem in mining whether it be cloud mining or running actual mining hardware in your garage.   Yet people are enticed to mine because of the potential for profit.

You asked a question about the liquidity of a cloud mining investment - check out hashnest.   You can buy or sell your "Giga Hashes per second" (GHs) instantly and withdraw your BTC.

Will they fly the coop and disappear like so many other enterprises?    Who knows.  It seems unlikely for as long as the S9 is profitable to manufacture and sell and run.    Bitmain is probably the best company out there to be financing the design of the next ASIC and next miner - the S10?   I mean, the way I see it, if they can spend 10's of millions of dollars on R&D and production, I don't think they would try to pull off any sort of scams.    Any other company I would be suspicious of, I mean, I remember the days of "Fried Cat" T-shirts.  But I trust Bitmain.   Having said that, yes, anything can happen, it's true.

You would be better renting from a site like miningrigrental.  The rental period is short, the site backs you and will work to return a portion of the rental fee if the miner fell short, it is a short and quick way to go and not drop a fee that is higher for a site that might just steal from you.

I only see this be a potentially profitable practice if you mine certain altcoins that haven't been jumped on by the larger pools. After mining for a while you still depend on the coin in question to decently increase in value, otherwise it's not worth the effort and time you put into it. Mining shouldn't be something the general crypto user should look into as investment opportunity. Doing some occasional trading has always been far more rewarding....

I recomended to check hashnet.com the cloud mining service can be trusted,
it be supported by bitmain the provider of mining hardware on there,
but making invest on there doesn't mean we will get return of Investment
due to the costs of mining is increasing every days.

Genesis mining is a legit one but it takes forever to get back your investment so it's not worth your money. Search other investment is better than invest on cloud mining because we don't know when these sites are collapsed.

People said HashNest is legit, but not adviced to invest there, it's true. If you check their site you will see a package PacMic for an example, costs 1 BTC and generates 0.45 satoshis per second. After one year of contract you will have only 14% of the ROI completed, that is too low... And I believe there isn't any guarantee the rates will continue 0.45 satoshis p/ second on the next year.

If you have money to invest, there are better options than cloud mining.

The only cloud mining that I know of that is linked to a legitimate company is Hashnest since it is linked to Bitmain, however if you plan to invest your coins in Hasgnest, don't expect a return of investment in 6 months time if you will just wait for it to grow. You need to buy GHS when it is low and sell when its high then repeat to earn faster than waiting for an ROI for buying GHS in Hasnest.

Take extra precaution in investing in cloud mining. Nowadays its hard to tell which one is legit and which ones are not. Don't believe on those sites who promises to double your coins in 24-48 hours, thats an obvious scam.

Stay away from cloud mining sites. Most of them are just pure scams. Will just run away with your money. Will make you trust them at first show you fake transactions and fake pictures. Don't fall for it. You better invest somewhere else instead of regretting later.

Almost all cloud mining sites are just pure scams and I suggest you to remain a mile away from them. You should rather invest in quite promising and legit ICO to make nice profit, there are lots of examples of ICO that have given above 10x return within one year period.
But I think there are also lots of examples of ICO that are scams ?  Basically there is no assurance that investing in an ICO is legitimate right ? I mean what's there to stop them to run with all the investments ? ( probably the same like cloud mining ? )
Anyway can someone give me more information about ICO's and some trustworthy platforms to invest in them ?

It's hard for someone to suggest to you a good cloud mining site that will not run after few months with all the investments. because most of them are scam for not saying all of them. I will never give you a suggest you any cloudmining sites. We don't know how they think. They are not stable. Even a legit cloudmining can turn to a scam. The best example of this is hashocean. Back in 2015. I think they are the biggest cloudmining that time which has hundred of thousands of investors. They ran away together with the money of investors and never look back. Cloudmining is not the best option for investment. Besides, they are not profitable at all.
There is no cloud mining that runs the system properly. They just cheat us with its very attractive offer.
If we have money then do not ever invest in cloud mining !!! Cloud mining will only eliminate all the money we have !!!

To put it into perspective I've put $98 USD into my Hashflare.io account and let it reinvest to build up hashrate and I've earned 0.01778436 BTC back so far. That's $51.86 in the 3 months that I've been mining for. Again like I said, not 100% ROI yet but it's almost halfway there already. So take that however you will.
Correct me if I am wrong, but everything that you have 'earned' through 'mining' so far (0.01778436), is invested back into more mining power?

If that's the case, you haven't earned anything as you have given everything back to hashflare to increase your total hash rate. It means that you have to start from scratch again.......

I may not have reached 100% ROI yet but I've gotten paid almost half of what I've put in so far on Hashflare.io And since they let me re-invest my earnings my hashrate keeps growing. And the SHA-256 and Scrypt contracts are lifetime as long as the hardware still earns.

I'm not going to say it's not a risk but I'm not going to make untrue statements and say there's no profit in it. You put work into it you'll get something out of it. 100% ROI takes patience.

How many bitcoins was your 98$ worth at the time you made the deposit? I am asking because actually it could be less than 50%, when not considering BTC price moves.

Thanks for the info guys , so basically it's best to stay away from cloud mining.
I think I am way to green for now to consider building my own mine , first I need to know what I'm dealing with , market , competition etc so I need some more research on this.
Can u tell me which alt coin is best to mine , I mean like some options , I suppose for bitcoins the competition is to tight.
Yes, stay away from cloud mining, even if you find legit site it will be very hard to reach ROI.
If you want to mine altcoins check this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0, it's about altcoin mining, do some readings and ask there everything what do you like to know.

That's bull. You'll make ROI but after you've invested enough in significant mining power. You're not going to get much with 1 or 2 TH/s but 10 TH/s or 100+ TH/s if you play your cards right can net you a good chunk in 24 hours.

Also the price on BTC going up "kind of" negates the difficulty. Again you have to know what you're doing to avoid Difficulty cutting into your daily earnings.

Cloud mining is not for "newbies".

Hashflare.io works but I wouldn't suggest going with them right now because there is a lot of heavy traffic on their site due to them opening up Polybius a couple of weeks ago and it's causing the site to "502 Bad Gateway" a lot. Also the price of Bitcoin going up is causing people to rush to their site to buy hashrate and that's not helping the traffic jam problem at all.

https://www.hashnest.com/ is legit since they are owned by bitmain (antpool) but i don't suggest trying cloud mining specially now because the difficulty is very high and the chance of you getting ROI is almost zero

Why? It has been proven cloud mining is really a bad way to make money and you will get nothing from there. Much better to build your rig and mine altcoin because when they hit to exchange that's possible the price is decent (or even higher) that's may worth your money when you build your rig.

Most of the cloud mining are ponzi schemes. If you wish to start your mining process, you can start your mining process with the old ant miner also but don't go with these kind of ponzi schemes. Or you can start the solar panel mining plant means you can better profit with the low electricity.

No I won't suggest you any cloud mining, we all know that cloudmining is a scammed and we cant predict when will it closed and the fastest ROI is usually more than half year, I know cloud mining is very tempting but you need to aware that it just a trap

I don't think someone can suggest a cloud mining site that will not run after 6 months, people aware of this that these sites are Ponzi except if they have some strong evidence that they owned mining hardware/s to run such this service but I don't think if there is, since I'm not fan anymore of this activity. All I can say is stay away from this sites Wink
