Today is 2019, and you still think that cloud mining is possible? If you read the old threads on the forum then you would have to make sure that it is always a scam. There are a lot of viruses that allow you to remotely use your computer power. I had exactly the same situation when I was playing an online game and noticed a hidden miner.

Why did you need to install software for Cloud mining. Once upon a time, I was also engaged in Cloud mining and all I had to do was buy power on the site in my account.

I once used a cloud mining HashFlare. And I was very dissatisfied. I don't know about viruses. But I lost more than I put in. But there can be no viruses on cloud mining. The fact that it is cloud that to work with it you do not need to download or install anything on your computer. Most likely, a miner has been installed on the computer or the site of this project uses your browser, secretly installing its extension. By the way, it would be interesting to know the name of this project and look at it yourself.

A day ago i decided to try out cloud mining on my pc to mine some altcoins but after i stopped the cloud mining software i noticed that my PC processor speed meter is still running aggressively

i ran a malware detector on my computer and detect that my PC was under attack, there have been viruses that landed on my computer and then use the computer power to mine bitcoin or other coins

Becareful.

I understand cloud mining to mean mining through the 3rd party server and not through your own computer. This means your PC should not be using its processor to mine. Rather mining is done remotely by the service provider you registered on. So you should check well. Maybe you have other viruses or malware that infected your PC aside the cloud mining platform

True. Many of these services close, and people do not get their money. Cloud mining seems to be something very cheap ( you can start even when you have $15), so, many people are attracted with the opportunities to get much when investing almost nothing. It becomes a mistake. You need to deal only with best-trusted sites. Genesis Mining is one of them.

That is why I don't like to runs software for mining on my computer because that is the risk that I might get too. We need to be careful when we want to install the software, and we need to make sure that the software is clean and don't have hidden viruses or malware. I hope you can learn from this so you don't make the same thing as now and you can prevent the viruses. By the way, what is the name of the software, I am curious and want to know.

Next time, definitely scan software before you run it.
It's not too smart to just install random software on your PC like that, you're setting yourself up for disaster that way.

Also, just stay away from cloud mining in general. It's always better to just buy cryptocurrency than to mine it.

The most trustworthy cloudmining platform is nicehash, even when a hack occurred on the platform last year 2018 the team promised to reimburse all affacted payments and they actually keep their promises,at that point in time i already mined 0.004 btc and they keep paying out every month till i received all

And what's your ROI? Are you sure you're talking about cloud mining? Aren't you just actually mining with your PC?

It is not a cloud mining when you run it on your pc, I think.
You mean mining programs that are mining multiple currencies, right? Beware also some multiwallets are hijacked.

Its not true cloud mining which you use it.
Cloud mining idea is very long from placing virus code to your PC.
CM - already in the past forgot about this.

If Cloud Mining does use your resources, then it's not cloud mining. Cloud Mining is a contract that let's you profit by renting the rig of a company. Usually it takes years before you could even your investment depending on the contract.

I think the one you downloaded has a hidden miner. I don't know where you get that but you should get out of there as soon as possible as cloud mining is mostly scam. It's better to buy Bitcoin to be honest.

Be careful of what you download and don't download anything just to try it out. It's better to be sure than to be sorry later, there are malware that has been attached to such software.
It's good that you have been reminding the people here. That malware can cause you the copy paste virus or any other attack that it can.

You should be extremely careful with cloud mining software that you are installing. Do not be greedy and spend several bucks on anti virus programme that will protect you from such garbage. In any case it is better to use contracts.

Cloud mining is completely scam if you hear any other offers don't go for it. Like your mentioned some malware attack your operating system maybe keylogger as well so better to re install your operating system now now but before that keep a backup of all the important things in your system or your crypto related details will be stolen.

99.9% of cloud minning is scam. A script is running in the background and you only have virtual digits on your monitor. I would advise against using any cloud mining.

As a lesson, never install random programs from the internet. Also always check the CPU usage; if it's continuously high and you don't mine locally, maybe somebody else does.
And sometimes a scan with VirusTotal can give you some extra info (although it has its false positives too).

Yeah right, but unfortunately scanning using virustotal will not be useful because the virus will enter when we install it. But it's better to be careful of cloudmining that is just known and doesn't have good feedback. It could be that the software provided by cloudmining contains spyware which can steal our private key.

It's an open secret if you first uploaded the application on https://www.virustotal.com/ you'll find out that this cloud mining are virus-infected, it seems you ignore all the warning and choose to proceed and you give permission to your anti virus to proceed although it is showing positive signs of viruses, this is a lesson for you.

It's useless, most software owned by cloud mining has a crypter that can encrypt the viruses they insert, so when an antivirus tries to scan it looks like everything looks fine because all the viruses have been encrypted. My suggestion is to use a paid antivirus that always updates on new viruses, so they can scan even if the virus is encrypted.

Hi guys, are there any  perspectives of altcoin mining?  Is there there a sense and potential in it?
Hello, definitely yes. Mining is such a sphere which will never fall apart. You have some particular interest?
Yeah, I am pretty well acknowledged with how mining operates, now I am curious with mining equipment
I was thinking about GPU miner options but some better known forum members strongly advised Antiminer S17 or T17 are the best two options represented on the market and on some official reselling sites. These miners are the most advanced on the marker these are called asic rigs
Sounds interesting, could you send links to these ressellers sites?
For example globemining com, this is my personal recommendation as I ordered there two times. Idea is that they do not sell replica, only original and registered devices.

Some cloud mining websites are real but many of them are fakes, they are either phishing websites or malware attackers that wants to steal passwords and private keys

Premium Antivirus can get rid of these fake softwares easily but one needs to be very careful when clicking on download links.

I dont know what is this cloud mining software. But it doesn't look like cloud mining as if it was cloud mining, it should not use your computer ressources to do the mining. You surely installed a virus on your computer.

Well, there are a lot of sites out there asking us to download their software to help us monitor our cloud mining.

Some of the threads below tell about cloud mining,

1. Cloud farm-mining.com website is a scam!
2. start-mining.com scam, don't join this scam website
3. Is HashFlare About to Exit Scam ?
4. Cryptominingfarm.io is a scam cloud mining site
5. Seedhash.com Scam - Cloudmining

And you can find more on the scam accusation board, at least these things has become a reason to stay away from cloud mining.

It has nothing to do with that bro, it is just a compromised software or a software attached with viruses.

That is what you will get if you are mining with downloading the software because I heard that the software contain a virus that can steal our data. Besides that, it is impossible to get a big reward if we only use the software in our personal computer to mining cryptocurrency unless the coin can be mining using the computer.

Besides that, you don't have to download any software to mining because you already got a bad experience and I hope that you don't make the same mistake. Stay away from cloud mining because you will not make any profit with them, but you only lose the money without having a chance to make a profit in the future.

Cloud mining is known to have a very big chance to be a scam. So I'm not surprised that instead of giving you money, they give you miner malware.
However, it would have been much more helpful if you would have given info about which website, link to the software and so on.

As a lesson, never install random programs from the internet. Also always check the CPU usage; if it's continuously high and you don't mine locally, maybe somebody else does.

I have participated in cloud mining recently but not through my own pc but with other third party servers. This costs some fee but still its profitable.
Thanks for highlighting this issue. I am not aware about what kind of precautions we should take while mining.
