but what I can’t understand is why they showed their faces and didn’t show mining equipment or company headquarters? are they fake profiles? when researching team members I can't find anything about them. which leads me to question if they are really people linked to this cloud mining site

I wouldn't be surprised if they just paid for the exclusive use of photos from some website or stole them from some dating site blocked from outside (so that the photos could not be found in the search engine). It is much harder to create a fake biography and they were probably too lazy to do so. I think you can also buy mining rigs pictures, so even that is not an indicator that they actually exist.

I don't even trust the TrustPilot review, most of the review contents are fake and usually, it's obvious that owned by one person trying to manipulate their trust, that is a tactic of the fraud sites.
All review host website is subject for manipulation especially if people only into number of ratings, not the actual review (content)

As for truspilot, only "verified" (label) reviews count for me, the rest are all probably lies (either positive or negative reviews) they're probably paid, from one person, or competitor.

I know trustpilot has restrict policy for fake reviews as what I observed and experimented. And knowing that the review page of shamining has label/warning from truspilot, this is a legit warning to people who want to buy on them.

Can anyone tell me anything about Shamining.com, a cloud mining site?

for your post history, you made a post in the mining section and you wanted to know how to solve a problem related to antiminer S9, that means you are a miner, so you should know how the current profits are and make a comparison with what this site offers:

realize that the profits they are promising Is lie.

but what I can’t understand is why they showed their faces and didn’t show mining equipment or company headquarters? are they fake profiles? when researching team members I can't find anything about them. which leads me to question if they are really people linked to this cloud mining site

Check how trustpilot remove reviews and warn people that there are lots of fake reviews on their review page, probably came from the same user.

I don't trust cloud mining, I have scammed twice on this and I'll not let my self fooled again by them, they are claiming that they owned mining facilities and mining machines but they don't have proof to show, or stealing other mining images just to easy to fool people.

Always have verified information regarding the company that you're planning to start an investment in.  I rather stay away from this and instead, invest my money in Bitcoin directly.

It might be helpful if you read this article.

And speaking of, all cloud minings are scam and fraud most probably a ponzi and should be avoided, only if you care.

Can anyone tell me anything about Shamining.com, a cloud mining site?

Unfortunately, almost all clud mining services collapse sooner or later. Note that there is no marketplace where you can buy or sell your mining power shares in live. All these types of services offer minimum annual contracts to have time to persuade their victims to invest. After the first year of operation, most simply disappear. In this case, I suspect the scenario will be similar.
Correct and this is dying business for those legitimately running it since their operations didn't give any good profits to their investors anymore. This cloudmining schemes is one need to avoid by newbies since 99% of them are scam so if someone sees an interest about it better to send warning about how they actually work.

And also after there disappearance they will create another scam mining platform and offer it again to newbie investors so lets be careful about this.

Can anyone tell me anything about Shamining.com, a cloud mining site?
The last time I invest in a cloud mining site was 5 years ago when difficulty was still low, and Bitcoin was still low, there was a cloud mining hype that time and so many people are into it, all my friends in Crypto are on it, invested big until the cloud mining industry was exposed there's really no mining rigs all are fake and it was all a Ponzi Scheme, we are in a different time it's hard for a cloud mining to sustain itself now.

Man, it's 2021 and people are still going for these cloud mining sites? Roll Eyes

I suggest you take a look at all the past complaints about Genesis Mining and other supposedly reputable cloud mining sites. Their maintenance fees simply make things completely unprofitable even when BTC prices are hiking.

You're much better off just holding your BTCs in a cold storage. If you are really ballsy and desperate for returns, go for a savings product. Don't ever use cloud mining.

Much better listen to us and don't invest with that 100% scam, to many something like that came out and the result always they ripped of the investment of their depositors so if you don't want to be part of their victim better listen to all people who said that cloudminings is bad investment option including the one you ask here.

I'm 100% sure it's a scam because its a cloud mining and it's a fact that cloud mining is a thing of the fast and with the current difficulty it's not profitable anymore, after the halving there are still a lot of developers creating projects that pretend to be a cloud mining when in fact it's a Ponzi Scheme, only newbies will fall into this if you are an updated investors you will not fall into this.

This one I'm sure a fake cloud mining site and 100% scam they already have some bad comments from their youtube video where you can see lots of fake comments, likes, and views.

It seems that they know how to do off-page SEO according to ahrefs they have many spam backlinks so they might be doing blackhat SEO.

Most of the links are domains that I think they control and they have lots of spam links.

And most of the links are reviews and telling that this cloud mining site is legit which is a pure scam.

99% of cloudmining sites are scam. The remaining 1% that claim to be "legit" won't even give you the returns you are promised. You are better off just buying bitcoin when the price has dipped and then sell high. Trust me, you make far much more gains than those cloudmining sites promise

Some fake blogs with links on their website claim that the company was launched in 2018, yet in actual sense their domain was registered in May 2020

Virtually all cloudmining is a scam and discussion is not allowed in this area. All discussion about it belongs in the Services area not here.
