Is there any compiled thread listing about how the reputation and the credibility perform for the site that accepts cryptocurrencies?

I know it is a bit neglect and tedious to not research on my own, but I if someone already make a compilation I'd appreciated that.

I want to note that Vultr, DigitalOcean and some other could ask you send them copy of your passport or other information. for check, when you pay invoice/order via crypto. I advice you to try vikhost with good uptime and support.

Bitcoin FTW!
Coming back to this topic, bitlaunch seems to be a reputable hoster that also allows you to pay for cloud providers like Linode, Vultr or DigitalOcean through crypto. I haven’t personally tried them, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of negative information against the service, and DigitalOcean is relatively lenient about what you do with their VPSes as long as you’re not crypto mining.

Edited for autocorrect due to my iOS device being a bit annoying.

Hey, just chiming in to mention bitlaunch.io as a potential option.

We at https://bitlaunch.io provide a way to launch VPNs and we take crypto currency as payment. We accept the following coins

  • Bitcoin
  • Ethereum
  • Bitcoin Cash
  • Dash
  • Litecoin
  • Monero
  • Ethereum Classic
  • NEO
  • Ripple

You should be able to avoid Bitcoin's current high transaction fees using other coins too.

never pay vps by Bitcoin or other cryptos since the prices are very high. I expect that those company do not like Bitcoin and want to charge a high money in order to make other people use other kind of payment. Unless you can contact some retail vps or vpn seller, never ever spend Bitcoin to those online companies and services

I usually hop from member to member with VPS based hosting and it usually works out quite well. I haven't been scammed yet by anyone with this kind of stuff, but make sure you buy from a reliable person if you plan on using a VPS. Most of these can be found in the services section and you can easily get a decent one or two core Xeon based VPS for around three bucks a month.

Interesting way to look at it, and that does make sense. I'd love for a competitive one to pop up that accepts BTC as well. Love my current host (cheap, effective, and the staff is knowledgeable) but can't get them to take BTC.

From what I've seen, there are still a good number of hosting companies that accept bitcoin and are well worth the price (in other words, cheap). I'm currently using one with great pricing + support members) and accepts bitcoin as well.

What I can advice is to read the reviews. I found this list a while ago.
It's not comprehensive but they did review more then 1 hosting company: https://themerkle.com/category/reviews/hosting/

A very handy list if you ask me.

I am not sure if it is still being updated with latest info, but most companies listed there should be still operational.

I want to point out that based on my findings so far, any hosts that accept crypto are actually going to be (oddly) more expensive than fiat ones. You can save a lot by just paying with a credit card. It's weird, though, because it'd make sense for them to be CHEAPER if they accept crypto since their costs are lowered.

I'd probably be thinking the stuff behind this is that the people who run the crypto only hosting companies are the ones that know that they're going to be going into a niche market (Bitcoin hosting company) and they know that people will pay a bit more to pay with BTC based on the fact that they don't have a credit card or don't want to use one online.

Weird, but that's how free market capitalism works.
