In fact, why would anyone trust their documents with an unlicensed gambling site?
...

Cloudbet appears to have a gambling license.
I´m not sure how you arrived at the conclusion that they are unlicensed?

Cloudbet is a licensed bitcoin betting site by E-Gambling Montenegro.

E Gambling Montenegro d.o.o (Podgorica, Moskovska br. 65., reg. no. 5-0615951) hereby certifies that under the
concession (serial no. AA 001588, numeric no. 133-01/15 5A i 1ERR) and approval (no. 02/02-118/4), organize
and operate games of chance in Montenegro on website  in accordance with the Agreement on management and financial cooperation,
concluded between E Gambling Montenegro d.o.o. and TIGER TREE HOLDINGS do.o.o (Cetinje, Njegoseva br. 97., reg. no. 50721755)
TIN: 03035166 on 5 March, 2015 which is valid from 05 March, 2017 until 05 September 2018.

Apparently the license is about to expire in a few weeks, but I´m pretty sure that
they will continue to have a gambling license.

Hi all,

The payment in question was issued yesterday, but I'm still chasing our teams to find a reason for the delay - I'm not happy about one of our community being kept waiting that long for a simple withdrawal.

I'll update with news as soon as I receive a response.

Thanks,

guess who's back
Good day,

I have been using Cloudbet for a few months now and it is a horrible and frustrating experience.

They advertise that withdrawals are processed mostly instantly and on "some scenarios" it can take up to 24 hours.
If only this was true...

I am still waiting for a withdrawal of 4 days ago. They do have a Live Chat but they are useless, they only give you copy/pasted responses.
I have never received any large withdrawal (0,5 BTC+) without having to go to Live Chat or Email support first. They try to calm you down with things like "Our relevant team will get back to you as soon as possible" etc...

They are simply not delivering what they promise (withdrawals within 24 hours) and don't care about their customers at all.
Sometimes they can let you wait for more than a week for withdrawals without any response from the "relevant team".

Small proof: https://ibb.co/mCCXce

Please avoid them. I don't know any other good alternative gambling sites, so I won't mention any. Cloudbet might be fine for gambling smaller amounts but anything over 0,5 BTC and they are basically horrible to deal with.

Hope this helps.

I'm sure you will get paid at some point , they may ask you for KYC if the amount is bigger than what it's stated in their TOS
in general if you can have a better experience with other sites then stick to other sites , there are many stories regarding delaying withdrawals with cloudbet so it's a common thing but the users got paid at the end

so if cloudbet is the only site that you really like you have to live with it , casinos will always have all the reason to delay the withdrawals

To be honesty, I really don't understand your logic. Lets just say that these gambling sites use the KYC card as a way to hold money longer -- this is due to make the users of their site hate them, and then put shitty feedback about them all over the internet, and then report them to consumer financial authorities in their own country -- which is most likely going to lead to the country telling the company that they're unlicensed and can't service their country with online gambling.
Has this ever happened? Can you present one case where the government of a country has told a bitcoin casino to shut down because consumers raised a complaint? In fact, why would anyone trust their documents with an unlicensed gambling site?

Now through all of this, they held one customer's funds, and now they have lost out on an ENTIRE COUNTRIES people due to it. I don't see that logic at all.
I don't see any sense in your reasoning either. In simple words, could you please explain why KYC is required in an unlicensed gambling?

I think KYC holding of funds has to be done for a reason, any other way is just going to lead to the demise of the company at some point.
Now that's just stupid.

Pending withdrawals are terrible, but is it just about withdrawals, or do they scam people? From your previous experience, they did send you the money eventually, right? And at least they responded politely here, so I hope the issue will be resolved soon. This casino's reputation is very confusing. On one hand, there are some good reviews and people saying they enjoy using it. On the other hand, there's so many comments from people who couldn't withdraw their money (and yet nobody can be sure, maybe the amtter was resolved later, but people didn't bother to mention it). A lot of people say they are waiting to withdraw money for weeks: https://www.bestbitcoincasinos.net/websites/cloudbet-com/!! And yet the official account has an even slightly positive trust...
CryptoBrainy, please tell us how this matter resolves. I certainly hope that you will receive the money soon. If you are risking a big amount of money, you can set negative trust to the Cloudbet account until you get your money back. IMO, it would be fair enough and will provide a good motivation for this casino to give you your money back asap.

@CryptoBrainy Apologies for the slow response, I do try to check on BCT over the weekend whenever possible but usually just scan our active Cloudbet threads and PMs.

I'm really sorry you have had issues waiting for withdrawals to be processed, if you could please PM me your Cloudbet nickname or registered email address I'll go direct to our support team and ask them to issue the payment right away. I'm also going to ask for an explanation for the delay as I don't like having our players left waiting when we pride ourselves on offering a fast efficient service - I'll let you know when I receive a response.

@Joel_Jantsen As mentioned by squatz1 above, it would make no sense for a sportsbook or casino to KYC active players to purposely delay withdrawals. If the withdrawals are going to be issued anyway after successful KYC, then all the website would have done is create a negative PR issue around the withdrawal without actually 'saving' any bankroll.

We were offering 100BTC limits on the World Cup final, so you can see our bankroll is definitely healthy enough not to worry about small withdrawals from regular players.

KYC is only used where our support teams have a legitimate concern, mostly around account security, although other factors can play a part (like AML laws).

Thanks very much,

Ronnie @ Cloudbet

More like it wouldn't make a big difference. There have been several accusations against them in the past and they are always too late to respond. Their account is highly active on bitcointalk but the withdrawal process itself is time-consuming. You know the general strategy all these sites use when a high amount withdrawal is requested: - Pull the KYC card! Cheesy

Most of the time these sites only request KYC if there was something suspicious about the
activity of the user in question. If you read the complaints in the gambling subforum, you
only get one side of the story and the users often omit relevant details.

E.g. sometimes a user tries to withdraw without having bet their deposit
amount at least once and a betting site obviously doesn´t like it when
people abuse their site as a mixer.

Maybe they don't have their support setup with the correct people, but direct messaging on bitcointalk would probably be your best bet.

Goodluck!

While it may be an issue if it's a repeated problem, I would have to assume this is an issue with security when it comes to not wanting to fill the hot wallet with TOO MUCH bitcoin because in the event of an attack the hot wallet would probably be the first line to fall into the hackers hands. I'd get in contact with someone on here relating to cloudbet, from my dealings with them they seem like a very nice team who is trying to do the best by its players.

Cloudbet is a well known scam.

They are good while you are losing bitcoin with them, but when you want to withdraw, its easier to go to hell and back.

Open scam accusations topic, these kind of topics will be ignored.
