It seems like one Mining strategy I see people using is taking either old Bitcoin mining hardware like Antminers or Cloud based mining and apply to it new Coins utilisizing SHA256. Does this method work? Or would you still recommend focusing on mining Bitcoin despite the higher hash?

I have 15 phases planned, 10k coins at BTC 0.0005, 10k at BTC .001, 10k at BTC .002, 10k at BTC 0.004, etc.
Each round the price doubles (on the "sell wall" I set up using the Waves DEX exchange. All funds (except the first 2.5 BTC) will be used for Genesis and Hashflare mining.
