To build a website with these features, we must be able to think about user convenience, user navigation, price updates, etc.

All of these features should be presented in a user-friendly interface, like the CMC interface. They present the best interface in my opinion.

And also this website must be developed by an experienced and professional team, who understands the REST API, Python, Cryptocurrency, and React (or similar).

And lastly, of course, you will need a lot of money to build a website with rich features like this.

If all this we can achieve then I am sure that this project is a success in the market.

The problem is not technical, but how you will get prices, update averages, and then take advantage of the data then analyze it to get perfect results with an attractive user interface.

Ranking coins according to market capacities is misleading and therefore finding better arrangements would be ideal.

I also believe that:

 - Speed of the site.
 - Speed of updating prices.
 - Attractive user interface.

will force people to use your site.

Then comes the real problem which is how to promote the site, the most difficult task, which will cost you a lot of money.

Just as you shouldn't be bound by a CMC model, there are some good ones like cryptowat.ch.

Team members is not a problem, I already have a team, well not "my" team but we are a group of friends that do projects together, so that wouldn't be an issue at all.

However, I still do not understand the extra information part. In my mind, I assumed a person who would be interested in the masternode page of it, would just use that page, if interested in cmc part of it, then only use that. However, anyone who uses stakingrewards, probably also uses cmc, and anyone who is a miner trying to turn into staking, will also use cmc, thats 3 pages in a single website.

Basically what I assumed was, people would use only the parts they care about and thats it, nothing more, and all those extra would be basically not even there for them. Since they are on different pages, you do not see them, you do not face them, you ignore them, and its not there for you. You go to homepage, click on the thing you care about, and thats it, you do not see other parts of the website. Its not like "if you want to see mining calculations, you will also have to see staking rewards at the same time" type of deal, that one is on another page, you would have to actively click on that part to go there, otherwise you will not see it.

I just assumed it would be on different pages, not all on the same page. So if you were interested in the CMC part of it, then you would be there and you won't see anything else, if you want to switch to masternode part then you would click on that page and see that, if you want staking then you have staking, if you have defi then you have defi. All in all we are talking about something that is generally page by page, just under one domain, but different ideas under one umbrella. Not all at the same time on the same page of course.

Of course, but you will offer too much information. you will bury the thing with superfluous information, for example, I am not sure that your potential visitor has the same interest in Defi and masternode also.
Plus, for something like that, you must provide more staff than the competition and for that. there is a lot of work and you need a serious team. Probably 4 or 5 team members. Are you sure you can handle it?

How hard would it be to build this type of website?

I guess it must be hard for people who do not know "how to".

Your idea is okay as a business idea, but you may want to implement too many things. so you might overwhelm visitors with too much data. For example, why I should need to read a lot of information about masternode if I need just a few pieces of info (which you would definitely take over from CMC). why a mediator?

btw. isn't the business with the masternodes largely in a downward trajectory? The best days of MN coins are already well behind us as I know only a few coins worth to be considered through this part of passive income.

I think this is more close to what you want https://www.posmn.com/currencies they also offer MN hosting service so in a way they rounded out the business model.

In the end, I am not sure about your programming skills, but if you have any understanding of how it's work probably you can try. All of this data for your website can be collected by different APIs. Even though CMC, exchanges, explorers etc...  If you can understand how to read it and deliver it to your visitors, maybe it can be enough to start.

How hard would it be to build this type of website?

I know that building it is not the end deal, you also need to get it ranked, backlinked, talked about and many other things after you are done. But I wanted to ask, is this even viable as a business?

It would be a website with a few things all together, at the top there will be like a menu where you click wich one you want to open up.

It will have a ranking like CMC, which I know is simple if you want to do the simple version, hell there are wordpress add-ons that does this, so it's not really that hard, but I mean like a very detailed one, just like CMC, you click on the coin and you get every detail type of deal.

It will have a StakingRewards type of deal (https://www.stakingrewards.com this website) where you can see how much you can earn with staking.

It would have masternode calculator, like this website https://masternodes.online and you could see how much one masternode worths and earns and all of that information.

It would have a mining calculator, I do not really need to explain too much about this, basically just a website where you can enter the gpu, the amount of it, your electricity cost, and it would show you how much you can earn by estimate.

And it would have a defi lister, sort of like dappradar, where people can see the defi projects and rank them, basically CMC for defi projects and not the tokens.

Do you think this is a viable business idea? I know ideas mean nothing and execution is the most important part, but I didn't want to put too much efford into something that had absolutely no value at all and sounds stupid.
