I thought it was leaning towards the negative side. They didn't go a whole lot into the benefits Bitcoin offers over the current financial system.

I thought they dwelled on Gox and Silk Road a little bit myself, but overall I thought Mary Thompson was fairly neutral on the issue.

Loved that they showed that dude buying things in Whole Foods with Gyft though!

Regulate BTC?  I hope not!

"Money Laundering" is any money that the government does not know about.

Only problem I had was the way they made it seem (potentially) as if criminals don't use anything but Bitcoin.

Thank you for sharing! Didn't bother to do any introductions on this board (kind of shy  Roll Eyes), but at least now this noob is now slightly more educated... Grin

This happened because Bush and his buddies outlawed off shore internet gambling around 2005. After the law was passed the Credit Card companies ceases funding off shore gambling accounts.
The work around BITCOIN.

General overview, shows the fall of Mt Gox and Karpeles, Silk Road, Mining, and views for and against.

I'll take any exposure I can get.   Smiley
