How long before they replied at all?

They have yet to refund 3BTC from a failed transaction and now even the reversal of my BTC has not been credited to my account.

Not happy

A few weeks ago I made a transfer of 0.83 BTC from my bank to Coinbase, they credited my account and I used the coins to buy some shares on BitFunder.  A few days later I transferred 0.52 BTC from my bank to Coinbase.  I was then notified that there was a problem with the transfers and I would have to pay CoinBase back.  So I sold off the shares (at a slight loss I might add) and immediately settled the account.  I have the emails showing that received the BC and my history shows the transfer back as well.  For that matter my account show a zero sum plus my latest deposit.

Well I received and email stating that my account was negative earlier this week.  Apparently, paying them back was not enough. The exact amount I-m negative is the sum of the two transactions minus what balance I had.

So the balance I had is now gone and I cannot use their service until either fix this or I agree to pay them back again.

I have emailed Coinbase twice now with the details.  I provided copies of the emails where they acknowledged receipt and the Block chain transaction information.

I'm writing this here to gain their attention, and inform others in case this happens to be wide spread, others might be warned.

Up to now I have had great service with Coinbase.  Of course until only recently I have not made any waves, now I'm suing BFL and things start happening.  It might be unrelated, but then again it might not be.

UPDATE : Coinbase resolved the issue and sent an apology for the hassle on my part.
