Does seem like bad customer service on there part. With any company if they are having problems you would expect if you use their service to be informed or be given a better detailed outline of when things could be back to normal. I wouldn't say a quick polite email explaining would have been too much trouble.

Exactly.  When you initiate a sell and get an email that says the funds "will arrive in your bank account by Wednesday Aug 27, 2014" I would expect them to arrive.  It doesn't say they might be there, it says they will.

So when something changes, an email would be the least they could do, so your not checking your acct 10 time a day wondering whats going on.

I still have not received a deposit.  Their support said "hopefully this morning," and offered a "sorry."
Even if the money "arrives" on a certain date, your bank may have different policies on when to give you credit and when they check the ACH system.

Coinbase customer service blows.

Their shit glitched one day, I have no idea what happened.  But a payment failed twice on their end and they won't reinstate my instant buy.

Have you heard anything about yours jcoin200? I completely forgot about Labor Day which would affect something like this, however if they were planning on having delays still a small email would have at least let them know rather than causing all these problems.

I got the same thing, refund of the transaction fee $1.59 plus an extra $1.59. Now they claim it should be there by Friday.  Can't say I'm thrilled about waiting 2 weeks for an ach transfer.  Well see if they meet this new extended deadline.

Finally received something, they just refunded me double the sell fee... email says they just started the transfer, hmm a week late,  and the transfer could take until next Friday due to holiday... two weeks to transfer to my bank is a bit much but i did end up getting compensated, well bittersweet now...

I just had $10 hit my bank account from a cashout I performed on Coinbase on the 26th without any issue(s).  Isolated cases perhaps?  Regardless, if you've opened up tickets I've typically found they are pretty quick to respond.

Wow, my first and possibly my final transaction with coinbase. Last Friday I deposited and sold over 6 coins they were supposed to have an ACH deposited to my bank by this Wednesday and it still shows pending and my bank account is still  uncredited the following Friday! They just said they had an internal problem and no ETA when the money will be transfered. Over $3300 coinbase is holding hostage...

Crap company to say the least...

You should talk to them and ask that its been an inconvenience and see if they will throw you a 5 dollar credit for the hassle. its worth a try. But, this happened to me once, it took an extra couple days to get to me, but most of the time i get it before their estimated date. I got spoiled, the very first withdraw, It got there the next day, so I thought all of them would be that way.. not...

Was expecting a deposit testerday from selling some BTC on coinbase.  Talked to their support and all they said was "there are some ACH delays, sorry."  No email warning.  It was a small sell order, but their email clearly says my deposit would be in by the 27th.  How hard would it be to send an email and at least let customers know whats going on?Huh??
