Send a Tweet @coinbase for a faster response. They will come through. Shit they even refunded me an overdraft fee when my transaction cleared a week later than they said it would and I had pulled the funds back to my main account because I thought the transaction was canceled.

This happened to me the third time I bought BTC through them. Just message them and they will push the transaction through. They did this to me back when the price at $28 Wink lol

I'm tired of these scams that surface when prices rise. Bitinstant doing the same shit.

I have had great success using bitfloor & campbx.  Never using coinbase again!

It is definitely because the price went up and they dont want to pay

They are now making you pay upfront then giving you marketprice SIX DAYS LATER. That is extremely sketchy

Im taking my BTC elsewhere

It is not said that the reason why they refused the transaction was because the price increased Tongue

I replied to their "message" and also sent a copy to every registered coinbase email I could find.  My whole point was if btc would have dropped in price, I guaruntee they would have delivered to my wallet.  What a joke, actually one hell of a scam!  Let me hold your money for about 5 business days, then decide whether or not I will deliver, depending on market value of course!  I wish I could do that with my coins!  That is the ultimate hedge against inflation or deflation...aka pay or not!

Yeah, that's pretty shady. No reason other than "high risk"? They didn't give you any other reason? Did you talk with somebody?

Check out the screenshot of the email I received late last night.  Keep in mind, I have verified: checking accounts, phone numbers, etc. etc. & they already took the money out of my account.  If this was for a larger position, I would have been pissed.  Seems mighty conveniant, like Coinbase is keeping my coin for themselves.

I emailed them back and said I bet this transaction wouldn't have been high-risk if btc plummeted!  Seems very fishy.  Thoughts?
