I just have got a notification that the tx is invalid. I checked with explorer and couldn't find the tx. I think due to paying low fee, others nodes have rejected the tx and isn't visible anywhere. I have checked with blockcypher.
I will do RBF tonight. Thank you for the suggestions.

I have deposited from Electrum and yeah, I am planning for doing a double spend soon unless I get an update tonight from coinbase which is unlikely.
.

If the transaction is from Electrum wallet and it still not confirmed you can just use the RBF option to increase the transaction fee.
Also, if the transaction is RBF enabled I think it won't show up on the Coinbase until it receives 3 or 5 confirmation based on my experienced(Only for RBF transactions.).

So if the transaction still stuck and no confirmation yet better to increase the transaction with RBF but if the transaction is not RBF enabled you can do the double spend. You can follow the guide from this link below.

How did you deposit on Coinbase wallet? Are you just sent it from the other wallet to Coinbase? Or Coinbase to Coinbase?
Or did you deposit them from Debit/credit cards or banks?

Are the fees fixed for coinbase transactions? Because I use desktop wallets only.

No. The fee fluctuates depending on the congestion of networks. But for a time of higher fee, transactions from coinbase to address still cheap.

I have had this issue with some platforms I have used over time where my transaction would get stuck and I would need to wait for a long time before it shows up on my dashboard history. The difference would be the support, when contacted their support usually responded quickly and notified me of my transactions' status.
@Pffrt, have you gotten a response now and what is the current status of your transaction? You could wait out the time till the transaction is dropped from the mempool or try double spending the coins, but to do this you would need to be notified of the current status to avoid sending two transactions.

I guess you have nothing else to do but wait.

It reminds me of the waiting for transaction confirmation on other wallets in case you use a lower fee. Here it is the opposite side. Cheesy

But of course for coinbase this can be a sort of customer dissatisfaction issue. Not sure how they handle such cases by just telling them to "wait it out", but from the perspective of a person who is less knowledgeable for blockchain and transactions this can be a panic situation. Undecided

If sending money from Coinbase to Coinbase, it only takes a few minutes to complete.
Are the fees fixed for coinbase transactions? Because I use desktop wallets only. If this would be the case then I think it will help users tag the wallet addresses personally as "Username - CB wallet" or otherwise so it will save time and hassle.

From his description, he uses the word "deposit", so I think he sent money from somewhere else to Coinbase. And now it's missing  Roll Eyes If sending money from Coinbase to Coinbase, it only takes a few minutes to complete.

If you have full control of your wallet(where the BTC comes from) you can do a double spend and increase the miner's fee or make an RBF transaction if it's available. It should be work on Coinbase wallet because I have an old issue on Coinbase before when my deposit amount doesn't show up on the history. Then I just tried to increase the fee with RBF it creates a new transaction and received after a few hours with the new transaction but the old one never shows up.

I also have experienced on Coinbase that sometimes they have dashboard bugs or history bugs. If it doesn't show anything in your history you need to request on Coinbase to refresh your account and transaction history. It should be fixed your issue after they refresh your account.

Using services from any companies to move your Bitcoin when you don't have private keys hence full control on your coins are bad. Always had but it worse when Bitcoin rises and fees bump to the moon.

We all know that and it isn't the point in the original post. And NO, uing a web wallet isn't necessary bad. People can use it as an alternative wallet to make a purchase quickly for its convenience, their daily needs, etc... Instead to bother using a cold storage wallet.

You rely on those companies to set transaction fees for your transaction and you don't know how long they will wait to broadcast your transaction, in batch with the others. Certainly true that companies don't move your coin in a single one input one or two output transaction. They do batch transactions indeed. And you don't have option to replace it by higher fee...
It's not the point here, @OP is talking about a deposit problem and not a withdrawal

It happens often with Coinbase. If you check its status page and look at past incidents you will see what I mean. I checked it and it shows nothing for today but the problem is really a sync issue to scan wallets for deposits.

Unfortunately nothing you can do other than to wait :/

Coinbase is such a reputed exchange and wallet service that they don't need to wait for gathering a batch. I have no idea what you are talking actually. I had never see such problem before. And yes, when tx fee is usually high, fee in coinbase is low because you are not paying fee in term of byte. You can check now.
What I said above is something I experienced a few years ago on Coinbase. I have not used it for a long time, it was so bad ever since, so I ignored it. Not sure what is actually happening right now, but it seems similar to what I have come across when you don't have tx when doing the trade.

I never thought that Coinbase had a lower transaction fee than any other "wallet"  Roll Eyes Do you really think they pay low fees to get those transactions done quickly? I used Coinbase a few years ago, every time I made a trade, I had to wait more than half a day to get tx. Do you understand why? Since most transactions are not done immediately, only guesswork, but it will be queued up and executed in their order or in bulk. I mean, they just leave it there and wait until the sufficient quantity comes in and do them all at once. In this way, they reduce transaction fees for themselves. There doesn't seem to be any way to ask them for assistance on it. Or at least I haven't been supported that way yet. What I need to do is wait until it is done and get tx.

Existing wallets like Electrum all allow you to keep transaction fees low, why use Coinbase?

Usually, I don't use Coinbase but due to the increase in the fee, to avoid regular fee, I am using coinbase for now. Benefit of using coinbase is they use batch payments and as a result, the fee is less than usual. That's why I am using coinbase for a while for regular transactions.
I had a deposit yesterday on Coinbase which is missing now. It doesn't show up in my transactions, the balance isn't updated because the tx is not confirmed yet. I have contacted with support but still no result. What can I do? Is there any way in the coinbase app or web to directly request a rescan so that they can update my tx? Or, increasing the fee (bump) would be okay since it will create another tx. I always opposed to use centralize shit but to avoid the fee, I thought to use and now screwed up.
