Sorry for rambling on just trying to grasp this crypto world.
Your question has nothing to do with Bitcoin or the "crypto world". You have one or more accounts with a business named Coinbase. Those accounts happen to be bitcoin accounts, but your questions are about how Coinbase is running their business, and not about how Bitcoin works.
It's a bit like if you:
- Opened an account at a new bank
- Transferred money from your old bank to the new one
- The money didn't show up in the account at the new bank
And then you go to a forum and ask if your "100 USD lost in cyberspace somewhere? Is this just a glitch in the system and once the funds are processed will the USD show up? Sorry for rambling on just trying to grasp this USD world." It would be a bank problem, not a USD problem, and you'd have to contact the bank to ask them what happened.
If you asked Coinbase to transfer money, and they took it out of your bank account but didn't credit your Coinbase account, then you should probably contact Coinbase and ask them what happened.
It is possible that one of the transactions is taking a bit longer than the other, and the it will come through if you wait a bit. It is also possible that Coinbase made a mistake, and that it won't come through until you point it out to them.
