(a) Minimum fee — a flat fee that applies to conversion transactions under $200, and which is disclosed before you execute the transaction.

(b) Percentage fee — varies by region and payment type, as follows:

This is the bitcoin network fees. with coinbase, no matter the amount you are trying to send the fees will be the same. you can not choose yourself the fees opposed to some wallets

Hi all

Just tried to send £25 (0.087331) of BTC to a Kraken wallet and got charged £3 (0.00097084) for the transaction. Don't understand why the fee is high? Much higher percentage than I'm used to when I buy BTC on Coinbase.

Only sent a small amount to start with to test. If I tried sending a larger amount like £500 would I still have to pay a large disproportionate fee?
