Hey guys, sorry im such a noob, but i need help. I jumped into bitcoin around 5 years ago and probably should have learned more when it became so valuable,
but ive been a passive investor in it.
Around 5 years ago i built a mining rig, and mined my first bitcoin, im not exactly sure how my wallet was even created. But somehow i ended up with an address,
mined bitcoin for the next year, and ended up with some bitcoin.

Later down the road i joined coinbase, and somehow "linked" my wallet, that i believe was created outside of coinbase, to my coinbase account. And i was able to use that
wallet to transfer and receive funds on coinbase. So in short, coinbase seemed to have control of that wallet.

After using coinbase for the next year or so, for some reason i needed to create another bitcoin wallet on coinbase, so i generated a wallet using the coinbase UI.
And it ended up with some fractions of a coin in it. So at that point i had 2 bitcoin wallets in my coinbase account.

Fast forward around a year later (today) i log into my coinbase account, and my original bitcoin wallet is no longer linked to my coinbase account, i cant see it, i cant access it,
i called coinbase tech support and they have no idea what im talking about.

My coinbase account was not accessed in the last year, so i wasnt hacked.
Does anyone have any idea what has happened?
And/or if i should pursue this outside of coinbase is there some guide to newbies such as myself as far as how to get my original wallet back in my own hands.

Thanks!
