So far i have never heard of any problems with coinbase. This is the first complaint i read about coinbase.

Yes, first time too that something went wrong. Waiting for your money for two days is no fun but as it was resolved finally I have no problems to continue using their service.

Resolveld ... once it was processed by Coinbase it took only half an hour to get confirmed and then to appear in my wallet.

BTW folks ... I find it somewhat funny that everybody hijacked this thread to bash Coinbase but nobody obviously tend to read what I asked.
So in general this was entertaining but not helpful ;-)

Oh, I even looked up some alternatives to Coinbase as suggested. Think what? Compared with GDAX prices none of them offered as good prices for buying and selling as Coinbase/GDAX.

That is because most people just heard or read about the high prices but dont even know that GDAX exists. I do not have any problems with coinbase/gdax

Do not use that piece of shit exchange. Coinbase is the main reason for high fees now.

Yes coinbase is really hilarious not only coinbase blockchain wallet is also showing some similar traits I mean their fees is just out of the world. While normal transaction would take 3-4$ transactions on blockchain.com will take 20$. Both these wallets enjoy monopoly of market which is the reason they manipulate it alot.

They are the cancer of bitcoin, the normal fee is about 250 satoshis per byte, less than 0.0005 bitcoins, but they are spamming it with 600 satoshis per byte, aprox 0.001 per transaction.

That is because of the real fucking roger ver, there isn't any other explanation.

What's more sad is that the customers actually pay for those fees not coinbase and people still keep using them.

Yesterday evening I sent some BTC's to my Exodus-Wallet.
It took some time for the transaction to appear in the Coinbase dashboard (about 5 min) which was the first strange thing.

Then the transaction kept staying on "pending". And it is still pending.

Checking the transaction in the Blockchain I get "No transaction found with the hash ..."

So if I understand this correctly this transaction never left Coinbase so far? Of course the coins aren't seen on my account anymore at the moment.
But in that stage Coinbase should still be able to reverse the transaction? Or do I have to wait ... and if yes, how long?

I contacted Coinbase immediately but so far I got only their pre-configured answers.

Thanks!
