Well I hope this is a warning to anyone who wants to withdraw their money from Coinbase and for that matter many other exchanges. Even after repeated support tickets which go ignored and posting on their social media pages Coinbase continue to hold on to my money. Like I say I get a continual loop telling me to verify my Bank account which has already been done. Coinbase this is beyond a joke!

So what do I do? I thought I will get my money out through Bitcoin. Well here are the facts. My money is in GBP's so if I try to buy Bitcoin so I can move that to another exchange they want to charge me 19,000 USD per Bitcoin when the current average rate across exchanges is 14,847 USD as I type this.  Seriously! Are you frigin kidding me!!!

Anyway just a warning to you all about how these exchanges are treating you now. God help us if there is a large number of people ever try to get their Bitcoin off these exchanges at once.

If you are fortunate enough to convince Coinbase to finally fix this mess and give you your money, make this your last transaction with them. This is a third world exchange operating in first world countries. They thrive because of their customers' misplaced trust in them which they reciprocate with this disgraceful quality of support.

I suggest you bombard them with emails and messages on their social media pages. They have a presence on Twitter and Facebook so I'm sure you can reach them on those platforms too. I find that if you stubbornly remind these exchanges of any unresolved issues, they will eventually respond. It's hard to ignore a flood of one and the same message, repeatedly sent until they actually respond and address the problem.

Don't allow them to ignore you. It is unacceptable for an exchange to offer a service which is dysfunctional and useless. They require their customers to strictly comply with their terms and conditions and yet they fail to abide by their obligations and responsibilities. This is not a fair relationship.

Coinbase - what the hell is going on.

You state this!

Partially Degraded Service: Wire deposits and withdrawals may be delayed by up to 5 business days. Rejected & reversed wires will now be processed within 48 business hours. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I cant even get to this stage because you system states that I have to verify my account. This has been verified - I have sent you a small amount of funds. The system just loops. What the hell is going on? Stop ignoring support tickets - this is a withdrawal issue.

DO YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CREDIBILITY?

I am not going to appologise this time for always complaining about exchanges but if people do not get to know what is going on with the Exchanges nothing ever seems to get better.

I want to withdraw my cash from Coinbase but this is what happens

     - COINBASE - I have done what you have said - I have verified my bank account and sent a small sum of money which cost me 9 GBP to do so (will you refund? - No)
     - You have acknowledged receipt of this and it is in my transactions on my dashboard.
     - I try to withdraw my funds and all that happens is that I end up in a loop with your webpage telling me to verify the same bank account
     - I click yes I have done so and you just tell me it will take one to 2 business days to verify
     - It has been more than one to two business days but I still get this endless loop in you telling me to verify my bank account
     - You will not answer support tickets and you even state that you will not answer any support tickets not related to the loss of funds

I do not think this is good enough - dam it what am I talking about - This is not how you run a business. Anyone reading this is going to have doubts about investing any money with you. Address my concerns and allow my withdrawal and I will update this post on how long it has taken you to do this - yes

You are supposed to be one of the best Exchanges out there - well evidence this by action and look after customers that have been with you for years!!
