Looks like you needed a memo with them (checking them from my end) and since you don't have one they now want to prove you own the address by sending another 15 to them?

I'd say do it if you're sure it's the coinbase.com site, you can deposit with the address and double check it on the app to make sure it's right before sending it but be sure to send from the same address and include a memo.

I’m pretty sure

As u can see it is verifyed page and this is the email address

[email protected]

Congrats on getting back your stellar, I guess requiring to send another 15 is just a verification that you truly own the wallet. Anyways, Your image here contains sensitive information like email, You might be a target of possible phishing and hacks, don't just post info like that anywhere, better remove it right away, and to those members that quote it please remove it too. Scammers are everywhere always be careful.

Snipped just in case... Most of that stuff should get added to spam though anyway and email addresses are sold pretty regularly by a lot of companies...

That's weird if they ask to send 15 stellar to your wallet again.
Are you sure that you are using real Coinbase and not the fake one?

My first tought. Its so unreal that real support would ask that.
Looks like phishing/scam site pretending to be coinbase.

Check couple times if your computer is not infected and if you are accessing real coinbase website.

Some one lended me 15 stellar I'mvery gratful to him and I sent them to my account
Now all the coins are in my account

This is great to see, I'm glad it's been resolved!

If this happens again and you can't find the funds because you've sent everything, you can negotiate the support down to a different amount if that can be sent (i'm assuming 15 isn't the minimum the network can support)...

I hope this will not happen again  Cheesy

Some one lended me 15 stellar I?mvery gratful to him and I sent them to my account

I will send him back 30 stellar and this isn?t enough to thank him
Good to see that your problem was solved, I thought you are a victim of fraud or something a phishing link that acting a Coinbase technical support team. I heard so many issues on Coinbase but after all, they resolved those issues. Next time don't use a custodial wallet.

If the lender didn't ask a double repayment then, it's up to you. Instead, the percentage of interest in what you have agreed with.

He refused even getting his 15 stellar

This mistake usually difficult to sort out because it's either you're asked for KYC or you are told to prove that you control the wallet.
You're chatting with thw official Twitter page supportand you are in safe hand
I’m grateful to you all for your concern and help i will search for any whay to get these 15 stellar cause i don’t have and i will see what will happen

If you don't have up to that and you have little maybe as low as 1 XLM, try negotiate the amount you have the CS and see what their response will be.

For your piece of mind, here's a similar case where they were also asked to send X amount to their coinbase address, only difference in their problem is they put an incorrect tag. It's also implied that it was sent from the originating address bc you can't verify it if you omit it out of the picture-- send from other address.

SIXTH UPDATE: Friday 4.19.19
Yesterday I was contacted by Coinbase via email and instructed to send two specific payments to verify the originating address and delivery address, I assume.

....FINAL UPDATE Wednesday 4.24.19Success! - 50,000+ lumens credited back along with a simple email response from Coinbase regarding the crediting; "We have verified both test deposits of XLM that you sent to your Coinbase XLM Wallet and have been able to credit your account."

Yeah looks fine, only addition I can suggest is don't send anything to an address they send you but depositing via the website is the correct way to go...

I think they're just after proof you can sign something with that address and that it's definitely yours.

It sounds weird but since his chat with coinbase is shared here, it's true. Coinbase just want to get confirmation that the user who contacted them are the one who deposited, no reason to do that though. It is better than the usual KYC thing, most exchange ask for that for no reason.

Usually, they're asking for identity proof that you own the wallet but if they ask to send 15 stellar that's weird. That's why I ask you if it is a real Coinbase support and Coinbase site.

Can you post the URL of the Coinbase here?
I just want to check if you are using the correct URL.
And let me ask who created your Coinbase account and if the account is KYC verified?

Hi everyone

I sent 489 stellar from my stellar account to coinbase exchange
I forgot to put memo so didn’t receive them i tried to contact support
every time they close the case and send email due to expansion in new market
phone and email support not provided bla bla bla
I tried to contact their support page on twitter it is official
They asked of my email and case number and opened new case
I got an email from the same email that on their website
After sending information about the transaction (hash, date and quantity)
The last email from them asked me to send 15 stellar from the same wallet
To my coinbase account to confirm that i owned that wallet
Is that normal i don’t think this is scam
Official support page
Same email address
Not sending to different account

Update 1
I sent 15 stellar as they told

Update 2
All stellar returned back to my account in same day after sending 15 stellar

Case closed .
