I guess this is the right place to put this?
I know I'll never get an answer from Coinbase, so I'll ask you guys.
I transfered 1 BTC to GDAX, thinking I might want to sell it at $10,000 (OMG, $10,000!!).  Changed my mind, and I'm going to put it over in coinbase for a day or two.  So anyway, it shows I have exactly 1, but when I go to 'free' transfer to Coinbase, it shows .993xxx BTC max, which is $64 less than a full bitcoin.  Can't figure out why, coinbase transfers should be free.  Guesses?

1. It could be $10k limits that you have talked about.
2. It could be transactions fees charged on the transaction, perhaps a bug on coinbase's side.

Best thing to do is probably just send the max amount now and contact support to see what's going on. At least you are still able to send the vast majority of your funds and the amount that is unable to be sent is under 0.01 BTC.

Personally, i have no idea.

hi guys, i hope this is the right place for this post.

I sent a transaction from coinbase to ethconnect on 1/12/2017 and the transaction never arrived. On ethconnect i am to put in the TXid so they can trace it and it comes back "TRANSACTION NOT FOUND"  the same thing happens in blockchain. I have checked the send to address about 50 times in the last couple of days and its driving me mad.

here is the details of the transaction report from coinbase. ( i have sent an email but they have not responded yet.

@Zocadas
Coinbase and GDAX are the same company. I think transfers between them are internal, and so are free.

This looks like a transactions fee for blockchain. So its not a fee from GDAX but for miners. If you have 1 BTC and not more and you want to transfer it, you have a max 1 BTC minus transfer fee.

I think it might be because of the $10,000 max per day, even though the math doesn't quite add up.  I thought they were charging me for something.  Nice problem to have, not even being able to transfer one whole bitcoin!
