You can also try to follow up your problem here: (very low chance of getting a response):

Twitter: https://twitter.com/CoinbaseSupport
You can find their phone number here: https://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/2288496
You will likely get a response, but not one that's helping you forward. Coinbase for security purposes doesn't provide support through Twitter and phone when it comes to the problems OP is dealing with.

It has to be done via mail, which requires a good amount of patience. Coinbase is great if everything is working properly, but an absolute nightmare when you try to get things worked out through just the mail.

Yes it was stated on the link I provided. I was just trying to suggest that maybe OP can try to have his ticket accelerated to the right department by just providing his Case ID.

It says on their support page that you only have to submit one support ticket and submitting more can cause an additional delay. They're most likely prioritizing tickets by date (the oldest first) so if you sent another one it'll be put on the back since it is "newly sent"

And make sure that it is on the right category since your problem is on their priority list

Our team is prioritizing only trust and safety, account lockout, and delayed payment issues. Specifically:

Account compromises
Account lockouts (password resets, 2-factor authentication, device verification, lost access to email address)
Delayed payments or orders

We are unable to prioritize other issue types at this time.

Please submit only one ticket for your issue. Creating multiple submissions for the same issue will result in an additional delay.

Did you put in the reference code correctly? If you don't then it won't be able to automatically verify. Just keep contacting support about it but from experience it can take quite some time to get a response from them, but I have had two accounts manually verified by support staff, just don't expect it to happen over night.

I tried signing up with Coinbase not too long ago. I verified my identity and verified my bank account. They took about $3 out of my account and asked me to reply with how much the 2 micro transactions cost and I did. Then they told me my bank account couldn't be verified.

what?

They don't even mention that they will withdrawal money from your bank when you sign up. Also, micro transactions should be a few cents, not a few dollars. They are dodgy if you ask me.

I don't understand how this happened? When Coinbase verifies a bank account, they send you a deposit of $0.0x cents, and then withdraw the same. Then they ask you to confirm what was deposited.

It has nothing to do with withdrawing $3 from anyone's account... THat's not how bank verification through coinbase works.

No they withdrew two amounts under $2 each and asked me to verify the exact amounts that were withdrawn from my bank account. Maybe the process has changed but this happened 3 months ago.

Check the wallets. It should say incoming (bitcoin/eth/ltc) and give you an estimated time.

Hi everybody,

First of all, I apologize for my poor english  Wink

Just a message to advice to pay attention with coinbase They stole me 300€.

My bank sent 300€ (SEPA) more than 2 months ago with all the information and I Received nothing !

I was very patient, I waited several weeks before asking why to the support. I received one or two answers from the support explaining me that "all the information are on the website" and that" this kind of operation could take more time than 3/5 days due to increasing of clients".

Obviously I waited again and no news. I tried to send again 2 ou 3 mail (waiting several weeks between each one) BUT I am not receiving any email from them anymore !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Can I do Huh
