Just pushed a new release which sets the ~/.btc file to 0600 explicitly each time you run `btc init`.

Thanks again for the suggestion! Cheesy

Hey Robi,

Thanks for checking it out! The API key is stored in your user home directory as the file ~/.btc The installation section of the website talks about it a bit, but essentially, that's the only place it is located. If you'd for some reason like to completely remove all traces of the app's access, deleting that file will do the trick.

May I suggest advising of a secure set of permissions on that file? Say 0600? Or even better have the install/initial run make it secure by default.

Hi guys,

This is my first post, so hope I'm not overstepping my bounds here, but... I built an open source terminal application (should work on Mac and Linux) that allows you to easily buy / sell / transfer bitcoin (among other things) from your Coinbase account. I'm posting it here because I'd really love to get feedback to see if:

- Any of you use Coinbase.
- Any of you use CLI applications.
- Any of you have interest in this sort of thing.
- Anyone would be willing to give it a try and let me know what they think.
- Anyone has any feature suggestions / problems / etc.

The app is called 'btc', and you can find more information about it on it's project page: http://rdegges.github.io/btc/

Thanks! I'll be around in this thread to answer questions / etc. if any of you have them.

yes, yes, yes ,yes ,yes Wink I'll give it a try! thanks

Cool, there's a lot of CLI junkies out there that will love this, i'm sure.

I sent BTC 0.01 to your donation address, keep up the good work.
