Just to be clear, you're talking about Samourai wallet, right? There's a dozen of fake wallet out there. So you block your wallet access to the internet or did you use a setting to do it?

I'm talking about https://samouraiwallet.com/ btw.

I actually solved the issue. I just jumped back on to explain what I had figured out... and I saw your reply. You were right, of course. My Samouri wallet doesn't automatically connect to a network... and I've chosen for that to work like that. Unfortunately, I'd totally forgotten, and couldn't see the updated wallet until I connected to a network.

Anyway, issue solved. Thank you for explaining the "confirmed" question.

No a "confirmed transfer" is confirmed in the middle of the send and receive stages so it can't confirm on either end without being confirmed on the other.

Are you fully connected on the samouri wallet? Is there a way to import a transaction there and have you noted down anything you may need to recover it (eg a 12-24 word nmemonic phrase). If you have got the wallet for a reliable place then you should be fine.

Check for a sync function or network settings to see if you can connect to a different server - after restarting the wallet if you can.

Hey, I've recently tried moving a trivial amount of BTC to my Samouri wallet as part of a dollar averaging scheme I've been working on. I used my Coinbase account to send, and my Samouri account to receive. For whatever reason, Coinbase is telling my the transaction is completed... I've checked blockchain.info, too... and it also says completed. The obvious problem is... my Samouri wallet doesn't reflect the transaction.

Any ideas? Do "stuck" transfers say completed on the sending end, but stay stuck on receiving end?

Thanks for any help. I didn't even realize that a forum this broad existed... so maybe it was a cheap price to pay to find this community? Haha.
