Coinbase opens new markets often. From yesterday i am able to buy coins using their service in Croatia so i guess they think big and are on good way to become nr1.

Update: Just checked https://exchange.coinbase.com/trade and it is currently listing 8519 BTC in past 24 hours volume. At the current price of $221.48 that would be around $1.887 million, placing them squarely in 2nd place.

I noticed they were listing around 8000 BTC in daily volume last week, and then around 6000 BTC daily a few days ago. So in that range, if that helps any.

Hey BitcoinTalk,

To get a comparison of market size, I've always used BitcoinCharts to compare how well the exchanges are doing as well as the wider market. Being new to the game, coin base is not yet listed.

Does anyone have a daily breakdown of how much trading volume they do in comparison to the other exchanges? To me it roughly looks like they're currently #3 behind Bitfinex and Bitstamp and quickly rising. Would be good to get some solid figures to back this up though.
