Apparently this is fixed now. It's definitely not tolerable as you mentioned for such a huge bug to happen on their site, and to make things worse, their support has a notorious reputation of being slow and unresponsive.

In the meantime, they're not trying to fix their existing issues with support and their buggy platform, but rather trying to implement new features and add new coins, and creating a political committee. Well, it's their company ultimately. But it's certainly not a positive gesture towards their existing customers imo.

Anyhow, this is what happens wehn you hand over control to your coins to a company. If their platform glitches out, you have no recourse until they fix it. If they decide to suspend your account, you have nothing that you can do either. Use a desktop wallet like Electrum that you hold your own private keys with, otherwise no matter what hosted wallet you switch to, you'll never be in control.

Weird.

That noticed is for withdrawal purposes (converting BTC to fiat or hitting the "Sell") and in your case it was on "Send BTC" option?

Better report it on Coinbase eventhough it will be placed on long quoue. It's like a web bug since as you mentioned, hitting refresh fixed it.

Actually hitting browser refresh button didnt fix it, just "F5" - which makes it even more strange.

I wrote to their support on Twitter 3 days ago, they didnt even dignife me with an answer - lol

I dont care now - no more crypto in Coinbase wallet, and i had almost $2.000 in btc there.

Their loss, not mine.
But after hitting "F5" your withdrawal works well, right? I think it's the same as the "F5" button and refresh. So, i guess that's just a bug if it's the case. With this experience will make you leave coinbase, because coinbase indeed is not recommended. Be careful!

If it has been fixed then you have to change your title since the very solution is just by refreshing it.

Yeah it seems that it's only a bug.

Guess I was lucky.
No you're not that lucky, it's just their technical side and you must report this to them so they can address and fix this issue.

Don't use them as a wallet as well.

Slava Ukraini!
Even if it's only error, still I think it's quite strange. As I know Bitcoin withdrawals from Coinbase should work globally, except countries like North Korea maybe. Only their exchange working in limited number of countries. For example I can't use their exchange and fiat deposits/withdrawals in my country, I only can use their service as crypto wallet.

Coinbase = Not a bitcoin wallet, its just like paypal with bitcoin as their base currency.
Thus they don't support every country, they ask you to use their service as wallet regardless of your country and origin of your bitcoin but when you try to withdraw out, you might get banned or they might froze your account asking personal docs.

In your case it seem that they don't support withdrawal to your country which is normal and congratulation on saving yourself from being banned without any reason by them. Just leave them and use electrum like solutions (but don't forget to keep proper backup of your recovery phrase).

Its not about withdrawing, its about plain sending from one btc wallet (address) to another (even though error message is about withdrawing) - lucky for me one twitter user explained that with F5 button this problem can be solved.

Yes, i know, they are notorious for locking accounts without notice and never making them available again. Guess I was lucky.

It should've never been your wallet in the first place. This has been said multiple times over the years, If you don't have the private keys, you don't control your funds.

Blockchain.info is somehow better then Coinbase but still not recommended, I suggest going with Electrum instead.

Well, Coinbase this is the end for you as for being my wallet.

I had problems with Coinbase system being offline, etc. But now I got really scared.

Anyway, refreshing page with F5 helped and transfered all of my crypto to Blockchain.

For a website and exchange this big, these errors are intolerable.

Good riddance.
