Online wallet is quite risky to store your coin. Better store most of your coins in paper wallet except coins you need in everyday transactions. Yes online wallet are convinient but they are risky too. Blockchain seems to be more stable and secure than coinbase.
Even blockchain.info is not that stable as well. A lot of issues are arising. Its customer support is not that responsive as well. Sometimes I cannot receive the 2fa auth code.

I have been using Coinbase for a while and only for small transactions and I have not had any issues with them, 2 weeks does seem like a long time for support, do they not have any contact number you could contact support on if you are concerned? I have never had to contact support but I would assume his would be an option.

I have never had an issue with Coinbase either but seems like these issues keep piling up lately. Makes me start to doubt their services.
Two weeks is a long time to wait for any response, imagine if a bank did that. That would be messed up if you were to depend on that money.

I've got no problem with them too. Never had so far.
From reading the other scam posts, maybe they made some enemies and people have a grudge to them.

Sure they could lower the fees, but making so many threads?

Yes indeed, this makes me second guess Coinbase, I used to have a wallet or two on there, I haven't been very active on those accounts though.
Might have to consider whether to continue to use those wallets or withdraw everything.

Cryptsy, Coinbase what's happening here.
Those were some very ok exchanges in the past, now it seems everything is about lies, scams and more bad things.

Such a shame.

If that's really true, then wait for those two weeks to get support for your issue, and withdraw your funds from their exchange.
I always considered Coinbase to be better than this, but could be just due to marketing as you say. But regardless of what exchange you are using,
using any exchange as a bank is a bad idea; why would you want to keep your coins away from your controll - move them to your own local wallet.

*btw you should use bottom left navigation to move this to service discussion imho.

Coinbase.com has to be the shittest company in the bitcoin world. They have had all that money invested and really what is to show for it, poor customer service. Takes two weeks for anyone to get back to you, so if you were using them like a bank you would be snookered. Long long way off being a quality service. Really I tried to think of one good point but really there isn't. Obviously too much money spent on marketing and not enough on everything else. Now my gf can't log in to her account because its not sending a verification code to her phone after many many attempts to send the code again and get them to call with the code still nothing after hours. I sent a message but now I will have to wait weeks for a reply

So coinbase.com you really aren't serving the bitcoin community at all you are serving your own agenda to be biggest wallet service and that's all, you typical corporate dicks!
