It's amazing how some of you guys just "know" that something doesn't work without having tried it. Sorry you can't comprehend how it works, that doesn't mean that it doesn't...

Nobody is failing to comprehend how it "works". People are pointing out to you that this "idea" of yours is broken. It's not a mystery. See every other service announcement promising to pay out more than was deposited on the basis of other people's deposits. Not just in BTC, but throughout time. Report back with which ones worked.
Again:
The payout sharing was just an afterthought in the first place thanks to user feedback. The original point of the site was as a way to convey (or "advertise", if you will) your Message. Which you can still do in addition to the 150% return.
The following verbiage is on the site's About page (which I have linked to repeatedly):
Quote
When you are the Ruler of a Nation that is conquered, you will receive your initial investment back, PLUS 50%! But be forewarned – if after 90 days no one has conquered your Nation, its people will become complacent and its whole value (as well as your payout) is subject to total annihilation – so invite everyone you know to conquer you!
So the nature and reality of the payout is explained completely upfront. Of course at some point it becomes unsustainable, which is why the 90-day reset is necessary. But my users wanted this model, so that's what I'm giving them. If you don't like it, don't participate. But that doesn't mean it's some kind of "scam" as nitwits are often fond of mindlessly repeating despite not having ever used or tried to understand my game.

And there is NO comic sans on the site. I would never do that to anyone  Wink

Well, any competent web developer knows that when using 'font-family: cursive', this will show up as Comic Sans on all Windows computers (and many other computers as well. CS is installed on 91% of the internet-connected computers. Besides CS, fonts labeled as cursive are very uncommon). I would suggest you to embed a web-font instead. (for instance, using this tool)

I see - perhaps I should have stated that I did not explicitly use comic sans Wink I've implemented a better cursive font stack, check it out and see what you think.

150%  RETURN?
hmm, NO!
Sounds too good to be true.

It's amazing how some of you guys just "know" that something doesn't work without having tried it. Sorry you can't comprehend how it works, that doesn't mean that it doesn't...

I'm sorry, but this website has too much comic sans for me.

And of course, this is a Ponzi scheme: You pay for a country in the hopes that in the future someone else will pay more, at which time you will get part of what they paid. This is an unsustainable system, and people who join the scheme a little later will only lose money.

so you get all the money? really ought to share with the people who are conquered. and also should let the rulers be able to change their message as long as they control the country
Well, letting the last owner get a share of the payment would create yet another incentive to own a country.
You spoke, we listened.

When you are the Ruler of a Nation that is conquered, you will receive your initial investment back, PLUS 50%!

See About for full details.
Sounds awesome. Now you've got a great site Smiley

I am in! King of CHINA! going to keep the BTC Legal for all of us to reap profit!
I'm not sure how it works. Your site can be used to advertise any link by claiming a "country", right? But can Bitcoins also be earned?
Hey it seems like you take over a country for .01 and can leave a message, ala king of the hill. but for example if you want to take over an existing country, you have to pay .02

I dunno who gets the .02 though..

and I dunno how the rates go? double? or always plus 0.1?
Well, if the previous holder gets a part of the new owner's payment, it makes sense. Else it would get very expensive as an advertising method...
Thanks for your questions. You're correct that you convey your Message (including links) by claiming/conquering a Nation. That is the value of the game, as there is no "winning" of BTC. The more valuable a Nation, the higher it is on the board, which makes your Message more valuable there. So you can use your Message to represent/celebrate your own Nation or to defame others (in this sense it's somewhat patriotic/political), or you can simply use it to convey your own Message, be it personal, a link to your site, etc - any non-offensive content (see About for more).

.01 is too expensive for an imaginary country. You should reduce the cost.
Hi, thanks for your feedback. Part of the benefit of taking a Nation is that you get to advertise your Message with links, etc, so I think there's a bit more value there actually. But your point is taken into consideration.

All give you 1$
I'm not sure what this means.

Coinfell.com

Quote
In the Coinfell cosmos, Nations began tabula rasa, or “blank slate” – that is, without Rulers. Over time, however, Nations became more valuable as Rulers invested more Coin to spread their Message throughout Coinfell. So, what is your Message… and what Nations will you Rule?
When you claim/conquer a Coinfell Nation, you will become its Ruler and your Name and Message (up to 128 chars, including links) will be shown next to it. It will also be posted to the Log and new @Coinfell account. Minimum value is just BTC .01, so claim your Nations now before others do and values rise! You can claim/conquer a Nation in just 3 clicks. Use your Message to glorify your Nation, denigrate other Nations or Rulers, or simply display a Message or link to your site for others to see.

You can either Register Username (to add an additional bio and link to your profile, and have all your Nations attributed to you) or use a Guest Username. Your content can contain links to your site, reputable referral sites, any non-offensive content (see About for more).

Win Honor for your Name, and Glory for your Cointry

EDIT:
You spoke, we listened.

When you are the Ruler of a Nation that is conquered, you will receive your initial investment back, PLUS 50%!

See About for full details.
