Your Opencart version is too old you must download the latest one OpenCart 3.0.2.0 which is the last and latest version of Opencart this might be the reason why you are having some issue using it with Coingate payment gateway.

For me, I tried coingate before with woocommerce in WordPress its working fine and you can choose other altcoin payment option.

Try to update Opencart first and install the latest Coingate extension. If still doesn't work try to switch on wordpress with woocommerce or prestashop.

Also, the recommended (CoinPayments) above is also a good alternative that supports some altcoins but stellar is not supported compared to Coingate take a look at this https://www.coinpayments.net/supported-coins and this https://coingate.com/accept-altcoins

I suggest contacting their support. The step by step guide shows that this option is only available for bitcoin but the page talking about the OpenCart plugin says that It should allow you to accept both bitcoin and altcoins so It's a little bit unclear.

I'm almost sure that alts are accepted there because I know that they do accept Stellar, ETH etc. so It doesn't make sense to not have them supported in the OpenCart plugin, but as an alternative, you could try CoinPayments which do have a lot of plugins (OpenCart included).

Hi

I'm using coingate with opencart 1.5.6.4 and find customers only get the option to pay with bitcoin, how do we enable all alt coins?
I want to accept Stellar.

Any other processors which might be better?
