Hello guys,
The auction ends tomorrow, and the current highest bid is 20 BTC (psy withdrew his bid for personal reasons).
If you were interested, remember that you still have time to place your bid.
Best,
Admin @ coinmillions.com

Awesome Wink and even if I hadn't been forced to withdraw I still wouldn't have been the best choice for the site Wink

People are saying 10 Bitcoin is too much but the site has made 225 Bitcoin profit with a small bankroll of 39 Bitcoin.

Seems like a good small investment.

I've not checked traffic stats or how busy the site is though so I don't know if this profit was made recently or not.

The site used to have much more BTC invested, 39 is low at the moment. So the 225 profit is since launch.

Hi,
I'll post the answers to some frequently asked questions:
  • The site has not been externally audited. What I can say is that I'm a software engineer with experience and I've built the site with its security in mind.
  • Currently we're seeing around 500 sessions per day. I wouldn't judge CoinMillions by its current numbers though: I have spent literally zero efforts or $ in promotion and our current reach has been completely organic. To be honest, I didn't even create a thread on Bitcointalk: the site is basically unlaunched. The reason is that I'm a developer, not a marketer: I saw that most crypto gambling sites where unprofessional and seemingly untrustworthy, and I decided to build my own. I'm selling CoinMillions as a technology with lots of potential on the hands on a man or team with the right marketing skills.
  • The site requires minimal maintenance (basically attending the chat/email and making some payments manually when they have been tagged by our anti-abuse system). Coding skills are, however, desirable: both to add features and to fix the ocasional problems (e.g., if the server must be restarted). If you don't have the skill you might want to find someone who knows about Python and Amazon Web Services to help you in these situations.
  • The stack is specified in the blog post: It's MySQL, Python, Redis, NGINX and Tornado in the backend and a custom SPA framework built with jQuery in the frontend.
    http://blog.coinmillions.com/post/144148958435/help-me-sell-coinmillions-and-earn-5-btc
  • The site is currently hosted on a single VPS instance which can cost as low as ~100 USD/month, plus 20 USD/month on cloudflare, and 4 USD/month on Google apps (for the email address)
  • I would build a doc with the most common actions and procedures required to manage the site, transfer its ownership, and then offer email support for two weeks.
  • I've not tried to monetize the site: I've spent my time connecting with investors. I would give you my leads with PokerStars and Derivco in case you wanted to follow that trail

Please feel free to ask any other questions.

Thanks that helps, I'll put some thought into it and get a bid in if it makes sense.

Has this site had a security audit?
What language/stack does it run on?
Access to developers?
Support after sale?

What monetization methods have been attempted?

So many questions unanswered, makes your thread seem less valuable.

Yeah, there is a LOT of work, hence the lowish price.

So it's a blind auction, but so far psy112 has offered 25 btc.

The website looks nice, but it doesn't look like it has much traffic.  I'm trying to justify the 10 btc.

Would the administrator consider finding a partner?  You have the engineering skills, why not find a marketing partner, like psy112, who will buy into it?

I would be interested in a site like this, but I only have the sales/marketing skills, so I would only consider some kind of partnership.

Hello Fortify, I'm the founder of CoinMillions.
I just wanted to say that Psy has been completely exact with his details, but it looks like I have confused some of you with my actions.
I apologize sincerely, and I'd like to explain some things:

  • Psy was one of my first users and has helped me with suggestions, etc. since then. I don't know him personally nor am I affiliated with him in any way. He's just a good guy who happened to like the site. He has been an investors from the start, like many others as it's an integrated feature of ours
  • When I decided to sell I asked for help among my users because I didn't have the reach nor the connections. This has lead to duplicate posts in this forum by different people, for which I apologize. It looks like this post, being the oldest, is now the official sale thread. I asked for psy's help specifically because I'm not an active poster here and the announcement would probably go unnoticed.
  • Psy's is just one of the bids. The auction is blind, so it doesn't really matter whether his bid still stands or not: if you want to take part, just place your bid and I'd let you know if you're one of the better bidders. It doesn't matter what the rest of the bids are. That said, I can't see what made you believe that Psy has canceled his bid.
  • I have received multiple bids but I won't reveal which is the highest until the end date is close, and even then I'll only tell to the highest bidders. If you have any suggestions I'd honestly like to hear them as this is the first auction that I manage, thus the probably unprofessional steps. I'm honestly sorry and open to your comments.

While my users get in touch with their contacts I'm speaking directly to the admins of other popular casinos.
I'm quite excited right now because the head of support of PrimeDice and one of their developers have visited the site and really liked it Smiley
I hope that one day those guys or other competent managers can bring CoinMillions to the popularity that I couldn't.

Please tell me if you have any other questions or comments.
Thank you for your recommendation by the way: I'll think about posting the sale on flippa.

Bye!

CAN ANYONE SMELL THAT....   It Smells like SHILL in here..

Hi guys,

First of all, I'm not affiliated with the site, i'm only one of the users of the site Wink

But i've been playing dice for a while now and stubbled over this site a month ago. It's doesn't got a faucet yet, but it's under development.

So far I have wagered 170 Btc and have never had a problem with withdraw or anything.

I have Also talked a lot to the owner and developer of the site, he's a real standup guy! So guys have a look and tell me what you think!

Hello Psy, guys: I'm "Admin" from coinmillions.com.
I'm glad you like the site so far, we have definitely tried to make it fun and user-friendly.

I understand that it's strange that I didn't post an introductory thread. I'll try to explain the reason by being as open as possible regarding my current situation and plans:
  • I'm mostly alone with this: I've spent the past year plus programming this site with the occasional help of some close friends, which I consider my team. This means that I want to keep growth controlled for the time being just so I can keep up with it.
  • I'm currently trying to raise traditional (fiat) funds in the form of a seed investment: I've already received funds from a Business Angel (which allowed me to dedicate my time to this), and I'm in talks with other investors. My next meeting is actually this Monday, wish me luck.
  • My plan is using the early and organic results of coinmillions, pre-promotion, as leverage in my meetings with the investors.
While I'm writing pitch decks and organizing meetings, I'm also adding features to the site: I'm currently working on adding tips, a risk/reward multiplier for investors (currently it's 1/250, thus the low max profit), and a faucet (I have interesting ideas for this). That's why I can't afford having to keep a bitcointalk thread: I'll do it when the money comes and the team grows.

That's it basically.
You can reach me using the contact link at the footer of the site; I'll try to keep an eye on this thread, but honestly I'm already at 200% capacity.
See you guys

Edit: Psy is in no way affiliated with the site, he's just one of our most involved players

Yes, but I think the lowest bid is 25, because i made that bid yesterday ;P ;P

I have personally told admin that I'm willing to pay up to 25 btc for the site.

So the lowest bid isn't really 25

You are making this sale look really unprofessional and I doubt you have access to 25 BTC

"The community can vow for my trustworthiness" - Which community are you talking about? Because your account doesn't stand out as being especially reputable here so an escrow would be required by default.

From the looks of it, CoinMillions will sell itself (maybe go to flippa.com) with enough background detail. All these "middlemen" are just trying to push the price up and want to bank off the 5 BTC buyer finder fee.

That not my problem if you think i have access to 25 btc or not, I know what I own and it doesn't matter like i wrote! I'm just the middle man posting the thread here for the owner. I'm not the owner!

"The community can vow for my trustworthiness" - Ask that question to admin, not me. I wrote in the OP that all the text was admin that wrote, not me.

""From the looks of it, CoinMillions will sell itself (maybe go to flippa.com) with enough background detail. I don't care if you find the buyer and get the 5 BTC fee. It's fine by me, I care more about who takes over the site since I have invested in the site since the beggining

What exactly have you invested in the site? Do you own a portion of it or just played the games?

My point was, which you totally missed, is that you offered 25 BTC for the site and have now taken the offer away - you know who else does that? Shill bidders.

I'm not acting as the seller, only as the middle man. I have personally told admin that I'm willing to pay up to 25 btc for the site. That's it! If you want to make an bid of 10btc, please don't let this effect you! Go ahead, I have no idea what kind of amounts or bid that Admin have receive. Have no clue actual, I only know my own bid Wink

No one more questions?  Huh Huh Huh

Please don't take offense to this.

Do you mind showing proof of 25btc holding for purchase of the site as a bid? (If there is a higher bid made than that, just disregard this)

I normally wouldn't ask, but since you're acting as the 'seller', I think it's fair to show that there was no 'shill' bidding to increase the price.

That's because there is a 5btc award for getting the site sold. I started the thread because the admin asked me to do it.
It's still essentially creating one sole thing as a result: SPAM.
What's the upside of having 3+ different sale threads open about one and the same product/site?
The information necessary is all available in this thread (aswell as in all others I've seen),
besides the higher exposure for the sale, the multi-thread spamming has no added value at all.

Thanks for the tip, my bad ;P the other threads are locked now! So this is the only one I have active about the selling part! The other threads was only a heads up for this thread! You would have seen that if you accessed them Wink

Seems you're so excited about the sale, you've asked 3 different users to create auction/sale threads about it,
which really isn't necessary, as one thread would be more than sufficient.

Thanks psy!

It’s true: after two years working on CoinMillions I have decided to sell the site and its related assets. The reason is that I’m a far better engineer than marketer, and I have reached the limit of my abilities when it comes to promoting the site.
I believe that this is an amazing opportunity for anyone with marketing skills, contacts, or access to cheap traffic in the crypto gambling space: you can buy a great, profitable piece of technology, and grow it into a money-making machine. You can even buy it with the intent of reselling it later: I will go as far as to give you my leads in PokerStars and Derivco which I don’t have the resources to follow.

Lol sorry forgot to add that part ;P but thanks for doing it Admin Wink

CoinMillions.com Cryptocurrency Casino is for sale!
Games: Poker, Shell, Dice.
Currency: Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ripple

I've been asked by my friend and owner of http://coinmillions.com to start a thread here about selling his casino. All the info bellow is written by the owner, I'm just a middleman helping a friend!

Selling arguments

  • CoinMillions is a fine piece of technology: it supports multiple cryptocurrencies & games, every game is mathematically provable, it supports anonymous investment and affiliation, it works on phones and computers, it shows the amounts in fiat, etc.
  • It’s profitable since day one, but I lack the resources to properly make it grow
  • User feedback is amazing and I’m sure that it can be grown into a money-making machine
  • It’s programmed using Python and MySQL in the backend and jQuery in the frontend, but the buyer doesn’t even need to know any programming: everything is automated, and manual processes can be performed via easy-to-use forms on the web itself. However, programming knowledge is advised as it will make things easier.
  • Its security is tight, with a combination of Hot & Cold wallets, BIP 32 address derivation (to avoid accidental loss of addresses), and strong CDN, Firewall and anti-DDOS systems.
  • We have already processed more than 55 millions bets without problems.
  • It has easy-to-use administrative utilities, which include a transaction inspector with accounting info, a form that allows you to send coins using any crypto, and many other amazing features.

Screenshots with further info regarding the features: http://imgur.com/a/HXUH4

Regarding the sale

It will be conducted as a blind auction:

  • Prospective buyers need to send me an email to [email protected] with the amount of BTC they are willing to pay and any questions they might have
  • I will review every offer I receive until 05/31/2016
  • I will contact the top 5 - 10 buyers and tell them the amount that the others are offering, in case they want to match it
  • Once the best offer has been chosen the buyer will have 48 hours to send me the agreed amount. The community can vow for my trustworthiness, but if this represents a problem we can use a escrow service
  • I will withdraw every coin held in coinmillions to their owners’ addresses, as a protection measure for the current users
  • After the payment has been made I will transfer the ownership of every asset to the buyer, and notify the change in ownership on the blog

Starting price and perks

  • The minimum bid is 10 BTC: any less than that and I’d prefer to simply close the site.
  • If the offer is 200 BTC or higher I will add an additional cryptocurrency to the site, chosen by the buyer. I will also offer two weeks of email support
  • If the offer is 300 BTC or higher I will also add a lottery-style Faucet, and an “offsite investment” feature which will allow you to effectively increase the bankroll by up to 10x
  • If the offer is 360 BTC or higher I will also prepare the site to support additional languages (it will be the responsibility of the buyer to translate the actual strings)
  • Higher offers may ask me for additional perks, which I will consider case by case

[/list]
