Guys - I implemented vardiff support for ETH and also some new nodes. Here is latest info:

Static diff 1.5B
eth-us.coinmine.pl:4000 - US
eth-sg.coinmine.pl:4000 - Singapore
eth-eu.coinmine.pl:4000 - Europe
eth.coinmine.pl:4000 - Europe but will be with geo location

Vardiff
eth-us.coinmine.pl:5000 - US
eth-sg.coinmine.pl:5000 - Singapore
eth-eu.coinmine.pl:5000 - Europe
eth.coinmine.pl:5000 - Europe but will be with geo location

I am finishing development for requesting difficulty by miners and for accepting stale shares

feeleep

provided I have the hardware, what are the advantages of going Vardiff? greater efficiency?

thanks

Any idea what is that DevFee ?
What does that FAILOVER 1 means?

http://imgur.com/a/zdbe9
All is explained here : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/claymores-dual-ethereum-amdnvidia-gpu-miner-v150-windowslinux-1433925
-esm is stratum mode (not each pools use the same stratum mode, it's just a different way of doing the same thing)

feeleep any news on claymore miner?

still can't get it to work.
i'm using:
Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth.coinmine.pl:3000 -ewal worker.worker -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1

I have tried port 3000, 4000, 4001, 5000...not one works
It's working fine for week for me
Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-eu.coinmine.pl:5000 -ewal user.worker -esm 2 -epsw x -allpools 1 -mode 1
You got -esm wrong and allcoins too (you are mining eth, not a clone of eth)

Thank you sir! It's working now.
Can you pls explain "-esm 2" ? Does it matter if I put here 0 or 1 ?

Does vardiff work with Claymore miner? I can't connect to vardiff ports. Static ports(4000 and 4001) work just fine.

it should work as backend is exactly the same as port 4000 just with vardiff - any error message you can share?

With qtminer I got : "waiting for work package" message since yesterday, checked it again today and it is the same. So I am using your proxy + etherminer. Looks like it is more reliable solution, because it is not first time Qtminer has problems.

Damn - both qtminer backend server hung with strange behaviour - port was available but nothing was happening so my monitoring failed in this case. I will check my monitoring later but stratum works again

Why such misery in the pool?
Who have broken node luck at the pool?  Huh
Yup, noticed that too...  Undecided

hmm - i can not do anything to improve luck... we had extremely good (10-20% better) for two weeks in a row, now its bit worse but it means it should be better again soon Smiley

From servers perspective everything looks good. i have 6 backend servers which are loaded 2-5% max

Hi - As I wrote in general thread - That was quite strange problem as I did not receive any notification from my monitoring. I suspect it was a problem on datacenter side which was not allowing connections form some subnets... I will check with them and report here.

Our pool is compatible with great ethminer release from Genoil which support stratum!

Grab it from here (1.0.4 beta)

https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/tree/stratum/releases

and run with

ethminer.exe -G -S eth.coinmine.pl:4000 -O worker:password

Any hash speed improvement?

Hashrate probably the same but with stratum support which should give some additional % to the income due to no delays in getting new work...

qtminer vs ethminer-opencl-0.9.41  -  which gives better hashspeed/performance/profit with R9 280x?

OP you should remove or fix estimated ETH/day(BTC/day), because calculation is misleading. It is a way higher than that Smiley

thanks - the problem with stats is that they represent calculations of hashrate from last 10 minutes and based on that and current difficulty and price they show estimate earnings...

This qtminer works a way better than coinotron proxy solution. I earn 20% more with qtminer, just like according to calculator.

this should not be a difference between those two - to compare it properly you would need to put same hashrate on proxy and qtminer at the same time and and check income after lets say 24 hrs... but I am glad it works for you Smiley

We added support for stratum enabled qtminer as well:

1. go to https://www2.coinmine.pl/eth/index.php?page=gettingstarted
2. download windows package
3. unpack it and go to qtminer directory
4. run coinmine.cpu.bat or coinmine.opencl.bat

if you already use qtminer, you can run it by specifying server address:

Code:
qtminer -s eth.coinmine.pl:4001 -u yourworker.1 -G

You can also find links for Ubuntu QTMiner releases on Getting Started page.

Hi,

We added support for stratum compatible with coinotron proxy solution, which should give 10-20% more income (estimation!).

This is how you can run it:

if you use coinotron proxy just point it to coinmine.pl:
linux
Code:
./mining-proxy.py -o eth.coinmine.pl -p 4000
windows
Code:
mining-proxy.exe -o eth.coinmine.pl -p 4000

and point your miner to

Code:
ethminer.exe --farm-recheck 200 -G -F http://127.0.0.1:8332/workername:workerpassword

You can download coinmine.pl default proxy from: https://github.com/feeleep75/eth-stratum-mining-proxy and just run:

linux
Code:
./mining-proxy.py
windows
Code:
mining-proxy.exe

Windows compiled proxy: https://github.com/feeleep75/eth-stratum-mining-proxy/releases/download/v1.0/mining_proxy.exe

Sorry for late response - we had a backend failure that day but now there should be everything fine with the pool.

Additionally I improved backend engine so now orphan rate should drop significantly and we have now reasonable hashrate so everything looks good.

Hi Guys,

Having 2+ years of experience we have built a stable environment for our mining pools. All our stratum servers are DDoS protected on IP level (not just CloudFlare web protection) and we have highly scalable environment (we can expand capacity in less than hour). Our Ethereum pool is working well and we have 99,5%+ efficiency however we would like to get more share in ETH pool market.

Starting from today we completely removed pool fee (its 0% now and will remain 0% for all users who will join our pool till end of this year) so its only one single step to start mining - create an account, set up auto payout and have fun mining. Our payouts are running every 60 seconds so you dont have to wait a day to receive your coins.

If you have any questions - please ask.

Cheers,
feeleep
