In order for Bitcoin owners to get a quick overview of where Bitcoin is accepted, we've built Coinpages.
Coinpages is a German-language directory for shops that accept Bitcoin and is aimed at Bitcoin owners from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Lichtenstein.
Coinpages lists offers from four categories:
Digital goods - These are all products that are delivered in digital form (intangible goods) over the Internet and can be paid for with Bitcoin. So software downloads, keys, memberships, videos, content etc.
Mail order - Here are all real, tangible goods that are ordered online and then sent by post.
Shops - Here are all stores with real business premises where you can pay with Bitcoin: So the retailer, the restaurant or the service provider. Shop opening times and a city map are displayed for these stores.
Economy - Here you will find the companies from the Bitcoin economy. Companies offering Bitcoin and cryptocurrency services, services and information.
Coinpages has already listed numerous acceptance points, but not all providers are listed yet.
If you still know pages that should be listed, you can log in to Coinpages and enter the corresponding pages. The entry of the page is of course free. As a user, you can leave comments and ratings on other pages in addition to your own page.
Coinpages pays attention to quality and therefore only pages that accept Bitcoin and that can clearly be marked externally! On the website Bitcoin must be displayed as a payment method and in shops without an own Internet presence, this can be documented with photos.
