Generally merchants accepting micropayments use To Balance mode so it goes to their CoinPayments Wallet, that way it is a ledger entry versus being sent on-blockchain with a TX fee.
Which completely ignores the fact that "average" fees have been sitting at 1 sat/byte for weeks now... which in a lot of cases will result in confirmation within 6 blocks (if not "next block" confirmation) Roll Eyes

I understand businesses are free to set fees as they like... and everything was clearly spelled out in the ToS, but claiming that 0.00065000 is too small to send as it would be eaten up by transaction fees is a bit disingenuous when you can send 1000 byte transactions for as little as 0.00001000. Just like most services there is a timeout period to receive confirmed funds, for this payment it was 15 hours. The buyer either waited a long time to send and/or didn't include enough TX fee so the funds weren't confirmed until 4-5 hours after timeout.

I note that they're quite happy to accept that amount as a payment and then forward it on to a merchant.

Sorry to see it turned out this way for you. But yeah, you get ripped off by all these guys in the end, even if they're protected by their ToS that already warns the user of the risks of that type of refund.

Bitpay makes a whole show of how the "UTXO sweeping" fee is something customers have to bear and now Coinpayments is trying to tell us they subsidise miner fees when USERS are the ones subsidising them. I pay 141 satoshis on almost every transaction now, and even when consolidating more than 10 inputs, I don't break 1500 satoshi.

Sucks we're forced to used these guys but that's something we need to tell merchants and get them to accept Bitcoin directly.

Refund Policy - Tiny Amounts
For a refund to be honored it must be at least the network transaction fee (TX fee) for that coin times two, otherwise it will be forfeited.
pffft... given current fee levels of 1 sat/byte, the transaction fee shouldn't be any more than maybe 500-1000 sats... even if they use a "premium" rate to get quick confirmations.

I note that they're quite happy to accept that amount as a payment and then forward it on to a merchant. Surely, with their "fee rates", they wouldn't be able to send the money to the merchant either! Roll Eyes

We currently subsidize Bitcoin withdrawals so you pay a flat TX fee of 0.00050000 instead of the full TX fee.
WTF??!? seriously?? Shocked LOL... Another service that is out of touch with reality. Roll Eyes

While their ToS is a bit shit, they do clearly spell everything out... So, I guess you just learned a $4 lesson... Undecided Sad

Unfortunately that is too small of an amount to refund since the coin TX fee to send it to you would be more than the refund amount. Make sure you have read the Tiny Refunds section of our ToS.

Also, you've given them the wrong txid... you've given them the one for the 0.00065 amount, that confirmed and was paid to vpscheap.net right?

Also, you've given them the wrong txid... you've given them the one for the 0.00065 amount, that confirmed and was paid to vpscheap.net right?

You need to give them: 70a18254065361c409d1a5d0f54ee9abd2f9c98a963f97b988d3760de10b3655 <- this is the one for 0.00064 and supposedly timed out.

I suspect, because the amount sent was below the required amount (ie 0.064 enough, it didn't register the payment as "complete", even though your transaction was confirmed. To get a "human" to look into your case, I suggest that you go ahead and reply to the ticket with:

1. Your Payment ID for the timed out transaction: CPCG7PVIEZPISKTAAQZKR8KHEP
2. The TransactionID for the timed out transaction: 70a18254065361c409d1a5d0f54ee9abd2f9c98a963f97b988d3760de10b3655
3. Your refund address

I suggest you log a support ticket with coinpayments.net then... it would appear they certainly don't make it easy tho...

You have to go through their terrible support wizard here: https://www.coinpayments.net/supwiz and answer a couple of questions (click the answers that say "this didn't answer my question" and "not resolved") to get the "support code"... otherwise they say they will just automatically close your ticket Undecided

Support Code. You must include a support code or your ticket will be closed automatically, you can obtain one at https://www.coinpayments.net/supwiz

Then give them any payment IDs, transaction IDs, merchant details etc... and ask them why there is no refund when the email said the payment had timed out.

If that doesn't work, then I'd suggest trying to get their attention on twitter...https://twitter.com/CoinPaymentsNET

RE: Payment ID or Address: CPCG7PVIEZPISKTAAQZKR8KHEP:

You provided us with a transaction that did not receive any funds and has timed out. Because there were no funds sent no refund is due or if funds were received after the timeout and a refund was available you have already claimed it. If you wish to make a purchase with the merchant, you will have to make the purchase again using the merchant's website. Please make sure to read all email alerts from our system as they inform you every step of the transaction.

There are however a few exceptions:
Double check your transaction numbers and payment addresses, a common error is creating two transactions. Paying for one and not the other. Make sure to check the transaction ID's to the payment addresses you sent to.
If you are sending your coins from an exchange they may not have sent the funds yet. So please check with your exchange to see if it was processed; if it was, you can provide us with the blockchain txid and we can look for it, as long as it was sent to our wallets.
If your coins have not yet confirmed (such as if you didn't pay any/enough TX fee), you should still receive an automatic email after they have confirmed. If you haven't received an email 8 hours AFTER your coins confirm you can reply to this ticket with a refund address and we can send them back to you.
The other would be is, if you are sending from a wallet is not synced, you will have to wait for the client to catch up and send the payment. If it does send, you can provide us with the txid for it as well, and we can look into it, as long as it is sent to our wallets.

I gave them payment ID CPCG7PVIEZPISKTAAQZKR8KHEP and https://www.[Suspicious link removed]/btc/tx/015ac5fa2548fac0f70ff1e6ccdad47546ce6bd006c95913340f620660216048

It would seem that your issue isn't really with coinpayments.net... but with vpscheap.net.

I followed the link and get the answer
Quote
No refunds are available for this payment at this time. You may have already claimed them or if your transaction hasn't confirmed on the blockchain it won't be available until AFTER it confirms. This can also happen if the merchant is using our API and didn't include your email in the API call.

If you feel this is in error continue to post a support ticket below...
As per the response from coinpayments.net, if the merchant (ie. vpscheap.net) has not included your email in the API, then there will be no refund showing as due to your account.

I'd suggest you contact vpscheap.net and ask them to explain.

You send Bitcoin to vpscheap.net but you are claiming to pr0d1gy . Can we know reason why you mention him a scammer without evidence ?

From your message I can see mistake is your. Your transferd amount is 0.00064 but requirement was 0.00065 btc. That means they will not receive your payment. Because vpscheap.net used coinpayment API to receive fund. Coinpayment API system is different from others. After genarate address there is a limits of time and fund should be accurate. If you send fund after timeout than fund will not receive by coinpayment. If you send fund less or higher than fund will not receive. Whatever wallet you used that's not fact. Problem is with API that are you using. In this case payment will refund to you, they will send a refund link to your mail. Some time if you didn't check refund link than it's not possible to refund. Some times happens this. Better you contact with vpscheap.net .

the problem is that I did not receive a message on the mail about the return of funds.

that's right tx transaction

I sent two transactions ,the first transaction which was canceled ,was on the first day
Next day I opened another order and paid him. because the first order has not yet been confirmed.
