I like your idea, Loved some of the stories. Your logo is good, Your website is.. What should i say, It can be improved quite a lot. Also i have advice for you, Run a miner like coin-hive on your website to make some XMRs while readers read your interesting stories, it will keep your website alive and ad-free for a long time. Anyway good luck with the project.

it already exists Tongue, i just tried putting a .com at the end of coinRobin and the website opened up. I think op was being nice by not putting a .com as he/she is a newbie here.

Haha. Yeah, since I was a newbie. I didn't want to get flamed for trying to spam my website. So I wanted to tread the waters carefully.

I'm a he. But I can be a she or he-she or whatever if helps with getting feedback.

I'll look into on how to run a miner. I have to fix a few bugs on the website. Like making the text color darker for HeRetiK. I'll do it tonight after work.

~~~
why didn't you provide the link of your site?
you might just get some followers here and we may even give some suggestions on what to do. scams are everywhere here in the forum. you may want to include cheating bounty hunters.  Grin
very untouched except by the reporters of Reuters who is reviewing ICO scams and documented them.
I didn't know if it was against the TOS or anything, but thank you for the category suggestion. I didn't know there was cheating bounty hunters. Haha.
How does this differ from the site that you are posting on right this second? That is everything that is here and I see no reason that people are going to assist you in making a site go forward when they are ignoring the site that they are on right now.
There is no real difference, it's just a blog. It's more of artistic difference.
And I wouldn't say I'm ignoring it. I'm using to for my side-project development Grin like other developers here.
And I read a bunch of threads it but I know I was in the wrong subforum because it was mostly about an "NDA idea guy" that was looking for a developer.
First off: this is the right place. It's a project, it's Bitcoin related and it's in development:)
Personally, I think side projects like these are great for the wider community. You've got those like historyofbitcoin.org that are friendly snapshots of Bitcoin events (I can't remember the site that revived and continued the timeline). And like you say, a lot review and news site. This definitely falls into the "lighter side" of Bitcoin.
I have only seen one other website like this, it was also posted here (Humans of TOR) a few months back but has since been taken down. Users submitted their personal stories about using TOR - all of them of course involved their first experiences with Bitcoin to buy drugs, hire hackers, etc. With these kinds of stories though, you'd expect a fair bit of dramatisation, if not outright fantasy Wink
Carry on! Maybe some of us can add content.
Ok, this is kinda cruel, is it not? Why would you want to laugh at other people's misfortune? If you said, that you would do this to educate and warn people, then I would have agreed with you. The other disadvantage of this site, is the information that are being provided to scammers to do this to other people. < scammers education guide >
Nope, I do not like the idea at all. www.badbitcoin.org - The Badbitcoin Project is a much better idea.
Badbitcoin's a different type of site, I think coinrobin's deliberately satirical:)
come to the website chill, read and laugh at other people's misfortune to make your life seem better.
I love any feedback and criticism. But go easy on me, I'm fragile. Cheesy
Neat idea. I have a few stories if you're interested. They're from when I was completely new to BTC and was a little too enthusiastic about using Tor which resulted in me losing quite a few Bitcoins for obvious scams (I should have seen the red flags). Having been said, I did have one experience with a scammer which was somewhat positive. We spoke a little of Tor Chat and he actually refunded me my coins  Grin
Hello everyone,
I've started working on a blog, CoinRobin. It's a curated collection, anonymous bitcoin horror stories.
I don't know if this is out-of-place, since everyone else seems to working on a software project while I'm working on a blog project. I'm a programmer myself and a bitcoin hodler, but I'm already working a few other programming projects and I wanted focus on something programming-related, but not actually do any programming. Haha.
I know there is already a few Bitcoin reviews site, so that's why I wanted to focus on giving a good reading experience instead. Like after a stressful day at work, you come to the website chill, read and laugh at other people's misfortune to make your life seem better.
I love any feedback and criticism. But go easy on me, I'm fragile. Cheesy
Great idea, haven't seen any blog like this before. Everyone knows (or experienced) crypto horror stories, it's refreshing to read them in a way that doesn't end in bickering and finger-pointing.
Just one complaint, please make the text a bit darker. I know faded text is kinda hip but at least to me it's annoying to read.
An untouched sector in crypto world I think. Concept wise it will be a good reading experience and can be easily monetised too. Waiting to see you announce the url of your developed site soon.
