...If I cannot buy that coin from one of the recognized platforms such as Binance, then how can I buy this coin, and any other that is not listed there?...

There is nothing easier to find the exchange you are interested in on which CAPP is traded, how to use coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/ru/currencies/cappasity/markets/ And in this case, we see that the CAD coin is traded only on KuCoin and apart from this exchange, it is not traded anywhere else.

Hi, guys

New into crypto. New into Binance.

I just tried to buy some coins but it seems that they are not in Binance.

Just as an example: According to https://coinmarketcap.com/view/vr-ar/ the coin with ticker CAPP is in top 5 in the VR category. However it is not present in Binance, so I cannot buy it. I assume it is just not listed there for some reason.

If I cannot buy that coin from one of the recognized platforms such as Binance, then how can I buy this coin, and any other that is not listed there?

Again - this coin is just for the sake of the example.

Registering on Binance is not a prerequisite for crypto investing, as there are many other exchanges that crypto can trade on. Even today's most popular swap platforms are considered highly decentralized. But why can coins listed on Binance survive, because the Binance community is bigger and there is a great gathering of reliable investors. You can search the source exchange for each coin you wish to invest. If you only have money on the Binance exchange, you can send it to the exchange where you bought the coin.

Binance is only one of many biggest centralised exchanged there are many big centralised exchanger like kucoin, bittrex, bithumb. Or you also can find the token on decentralised exchanger like uniswap/pancakeswap etc.. just look at the exchanger section on every token/coin in coinmarketcap

it seems to always check correctly and if it's not on binance it's not something to be questioned, because obviously everyone has limitations in every exchange and doesn't have to accommodate what we want, but must think otherwise, want to follow what is already in binance.

maybe the way out that you can do is just do a swap, it will certainly be easier and can represent what you want. All exchanges obviously have their own rules and details which may not be in line with you thoughts and not necessarily if it's not on binance, coin it's not good.

It costs projects up to 1 million USD to list on Binance. Not every project wants or is able to afford that. You can trade any token on decentralized exchanges but you need to learn how to use metamask. If you can't understand metamask try NEAR protocol, it has a decentralized exchange (Ref Finance) that allows you to trade a large number of cryptos and NEAR is as easy to use as checking your email.

Binance is a very large exchange, but it is not able to have all coins and tokens in its offer.
CAPP is not yet listed on Binance, but it may be in the future.
If you want to check where you can trade a coin or token, you can check it on Coingecko. You have to choose the coin you are interested in and then open the "Markets" tab.
In the case of CAPP, such information can be found here:

actually using simple research you can see where the particular coin listed.. And fyi not all coins that listed in CMC can be traded in binance exchange because there's a bunch of exchanges out there.. And basically what you see within binance platform are the project only that pays for the listing.. So if you didn't see the coin on it that means it's not available.. Better to check the site of that project to see what platform is available for it ..

If you’re planning to buy any coin, and since you’re a newbie, I will advise you to be buying coins that have high liquidity. Yeah you should buy coins that are listed on top exchanges ,  and not just any random exchange.

As for this coin you’re talking about, I’ve never heard of it before, but maybe you should check it out on coinmarketcap.com and see if it’s there, and if it’s listed on the website you can click on it and look for which exchanges it is listed on. Then after you have seen the exchange I will also advise you to do a research on that exchange and know how good it is. But, if you wouldn’t like to use any other exchange apart from binance then I will advise you to just keep buying the ones that are made available on the binance exchange.

the OP as he said is new in crypto and even a new user in binance, so maybe he thought that any coin is listed in binance. he's finding out that even top coins let's say in VR is not yet listed in binance. because it depends on the project, if they haven't applied for binance, they won't be in binance. only few lucky projects like shib are being listed in binance without the dev's application.
with cmc, as he already knows it, he can easily check the markets a project is listed with. and if it is a dex, he can just connect his wallet and no need to create an account. he has a lot of things to learn here.but one thing is, don't follow the fud, because you can easily get rekt if you follow them. do your own research and act according to your instincts.

If there is a coin or token listed on Binance then this is like a guarantee that the coin will last for a long time, Binance is the largest exchange network so coins that already have a great reputation are there. if the coin is new it will take some time to be accepted on Binance.

It's like a "guarantee", but in the "real world" there's no such thing! Binance can list any coin, the same they can delist it... so before getting into some new project don't rely just on that one thing, did Binance list that one or not!

I don't think there is an exchange with all coins and tokens listed! There are too many of them, and most of them are holding despite many people calling them scams... so when you wish to check some new coin or token the simplest thing is to check look at coinmarketcap or coingecko, and there you can check where are they listed, volume, and that kind of things.

Of course you can find the source of the exchange where the coin is listed, in Coinmarketcap have the trading record of the coin. You can register a particular exchange, then transfer a stable coin or other to that exchange, and you buy the coin you want. It's actually something very easy to do. You only need to learn one exchange, and you will master all exchanges. If you have mastered Binance, of course other exchanges are easier. Because Binance has more features than other exchanges. You just need to see if the exchange requires KYC, if so, then you have to complete KYC first.

Not all coins will be in binance, even when you feel it is a nice coin and has a promising future. To buy the coin, you only need to open the information in CMC by clicking the coin you want, then select the Market tab, and you can see in which market coins are list.
However, not all coins that you don't think are good list of billions because the binance list requires a large cost and has good coin quality according to them.

There are roughly more than 3000 coins and tokens are available right now in this crypto space hence you cannot expect each and every token and coin to be listed on one single crypto exchange.

There are many services are available to find out all the information about most of the cryptocurrencies like where it is being traded and what are its social media handles and etc. Coinmaketcap and coingecko are the two services I am using for this purposes. If these two services are not covering your coin or token and then you need to assume like your coin is still in early stage or it is a scammy one which never hits any exchange; even delisted information can be found from these services.

Most new coins especially BSC-based tokens are usually available on Pancakeswap, it takes a long process to get registered on Binance because the Binance team is very selective in accepting new coins, even in my opinion trading on PancakeSwap is easier and faster than on Binance which has to deposit and withdraw with fees which is more expensive.

To find our what exchanges coins are trade on you should open the page of this coin on Coinmarketcap for example CAPP and scroll down the page. Then click "read more" and there will be field "Cappacity markets" where you can find all exchanges and available pairs. In terms of CAPP it is trade only on Kucoin and can be exchanged either to Bitcoin or Ethereum.

not all coins are on the exchange because sometimes they have their own market.
but on the other hand maybe I can suggest CMC as a benchmark and reference to see the coin market itself.
as for binance why do you buy and expect the coin you buy to enter the binance exchange when the coin is clearly not there.
Coins on Binance, in particular, are usually listed on the exchange after a series of rigorous selections.
So, if you want to get the coins on Binance, you have to buy the coins there because it's clear they're already registered

Welcome aboard.

If Binance is not listed the coin, you can search from the other exchanges to buy it directly. Binance listed the coin that has a good performance so if they think that the coin does not have performed in the short or medium term, they will not be listed but they can list that coin in the future if they see a good performance in their track record.

Maybe you should search for the other coins in Binance and analyze if that coin is good enough to buy and hold or trade it. Many other coins can give you profit from Binance so maybe you can leave the coin and try to find the other coins.

If it's not worth it, they won't list it. Then, there is the payment needed to be listed. How can you buy a coin that is not listed on Binance? Contact the developer directly or their marketing team. If they have discord or telegram channel, you may be able to get in touch with him.
Also, you may have a problem with their wallet so better to check the whole project first on how you are going to keep a coin that is not listed in any exchange. Perhaps they have their stand-alone wallet application. Lastly, be careful, do your research.

As obvious if cmc doesn't show that it's not on binance then it's not there. You have to click that coin on that list then see what's with the market. It will show you the exchanges where they're listed and that's where you can buy and trade and sell that token for good.
Not every project is in binance because they have standards to make and if the new projects wanting to be listed there didn't pass the standards, do not expect them to be there.

Why you are buying a coin that is not available on Binance and will ask the reason why it's not listed there.

Binance does have its own requirements for a coin before they will list it.

If you want to know the reason why that coin is not listed yet, ask the question on their own coin's community if available.

Yes, this coin is not listed yet on Binance.
Check this:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cappasity/markets/
Only available on Kucoin with pair CAPP/BTC and CAPP/ETH.
FYI, Kucoin is also a top global exchange. this is the third top exchange based on Coin Market Cap:
https://coinmarketcap.com/rankings/exchanges/
You need better go to Kucoin if it is available in your country.
Because that is the only way you can trade. Don't trust easily other people who offer you this coin by asking for money.

Btw, please consider once again and rethink if you are going to buy certain crypto, buy only crypto that you really know. And you said that you are new, I am wondering why you prefer to choose CAPP for your investment, why not top coins

For new projects with low capitalization, small community and above all low volume it is hard to be listed on Binance. At first, they get on small exchanges or are traded on decentralized exchanges (Uniswap, Pancakeswap ..)

As for CAPP, you can check the exchange on which you can buy it in the markets tab:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cappasity/markets/

This coin you can buy only on KuCoin for BTC, or ETH

It's not on Binance because its not listed over there. You won't find all coins in all exchange. On Coinmarketcap, click on CPP and scroll down. Head over to the market section and you will see where you can find that specific coin or token. Currently the coin you are looking for can be found at Kucoin with BTC and ETH pair only. So if you want to buy CAPP, you have to use Kukoin as they are the only one offering that token. Since you are new, people here might send you a PM trying to scam you. Stay away from them.

Binance was not the only way to buy a token/coin as there are bunch of coin/tokens have not listed by binance because binance has a very strict requirement for the developers. You coins were trading in another exchange site other than binance exchange site.

- from Coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cappasity/markets/
- from Coingecko https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/cappasity#markets

You can buy it from Kucoin according to those two market data aggregators. It's not as recognized as Binance but it isn't that bad. They have some good volume and more less popular coins listed. Just type in the search box whatever coin or token you want to check if you want to see more.

Not all projects are listed on all the exchanges and it is not even possible to list such a huge amount of coins / tokens. However, if a project is promising and there is enough demand in the market, then binance lists that coin in their exchange.

Because binance is currently a top exchange, so every crypto project team tries their coins to be listed on the exchange in binance. If the team for the project you are talking about is serious, they may soon be listed on Binance.

There's no wrong about this and its pretty normal since Binance is not the only option for them and many tokens are also not on Binance. You have to ask the developer of that token if they have any plans to get listed on Binance since it requires a lot of works and paying a huge fee on Binance might be the next problem, so confirm this to them.

There are thousands of cryptocurrencies.
Not all cryptocurrencies are listed on the Binance exchange.
To know where they are listed, you can click on the coin in that Coin Market Cap, and go to Market. There, you can find some exchanges where the coins are listed.
For example, you are going to buy Wilder World coin, so, click on the coin in that CMC site - click market. You will find the display like this:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/wilder-world/markets/

Btw, if you are new, why are you interested in that kind of crypto?
It may be riskier.
have you really analyzed the crypto? or only follow the people or people around you?
It is better to recheck and reanalyze again. And you may also see and analyze top coins on the market cap:

Of course, not all coins can be listed on Binance. First of all, Binance is a top tier exchange and not all projects can afford the high price of listing their coin on the said platform. Second, maybe you can find the coins listed on other platforms and maybe that is the time you can buy it then. But the problem with this lower tier exchanges is the volumes and the number of traders and there are accusations that this exchanges are being used for pump and dump schemes.

That means that the coin that you're looking for hasn't tried anything on their end to get listed on the said exchange. There are listing fees needed in order to get listed in Binance, and some coins that aren't there yet haven't paid for the said fee, and doesn't have enough demand from the market for Binance to list them.

Having a dedicated market for a coin takes up resources, and if there aren't any demands for the coin in question, why else would an exchange list it anyway if they wouldn't get fees at all from the said coin?

Not every exchange has EVERY coin. Binance only lists good coins with amazing reputations as well as sound business models. Be very careful of coins that are listed on small volume exchanges or exchanges with a bad reputation (some fake their userbase/volume with bots and sell scammy coins).

Seeing as you are new to the game, I would recommend you stick to the top 10 coins with the most volume. You can head over to coinmarketcap and take a look at the coins.

If you really really need to buy some other coin, make sure you do your own research beforehand. You can probably buy them on a DEX like pancakeswap or uniswap because its easier to list new coins there. Just be careful, because some scammers give their coins similiar names to reputable coins.

Not all coins are listed on every exchange, however, in my opinion, Binance offers the widest variety of all major exchanges.

On CoinMarketCap, if you select a coin, click the "Market" tab below, it'll show you all the exchanges its listed on. Just for your information, CoinGecko is also a useful alternative to CMC.

Check coinmarketcap.com or coingecko. Try to search up a particular coin you do like to buy and just like what others been saying that even Binance is on the top exchange or platform but doesnt mean that it does have all the coins in the market.

Exchange platforms couldnt really just list easily coins in the market specially those shit ones. The better the coin then it is likely to be listed on
a popular platform.

You should know it by now and keep learning pal.   Wink

Just because Binance has the most recognition it doesn't mean all the cryptos can only be bought from them. There's various exchange that exists for a reason. Just a note and a heads up, sometimes there is a shady exchange that is far from the general user recognition, you'd better not to waste any time and funds on those exchanges.

Just make sure if you want to buy any cryptocurrencies, buy it from a reputable exchange, try to research the exchange first, put attention if there is a scam accusation toward the exchange.

Hey I think you are new to this crypto world, actually anyone can create their own Cryptocurrency and ask the exchanges to list their currency for which the project pays the exchange a fees. Binance has around 100 coins I think but in total there are 12000 Cryptocurrencies and only a few have the budget to get listed on these large exchanges. Obviously buying such Cryptocurrencies is risky as they would not have enough liquidity if they are not listed on a big exchange. The token that you are saying is listed on Kucoin which too is a pretty big exchange so it should be pretty safe to buy this coin. You can check the Available markets of different coins by opening markets section on coinmarketcap.
