Good morning crypto world!

1PrG7gE4aYcirJU3DJqt4M96vDE1XNHNJW is the BTC address that hacked my Bittrex account and drained it.  So if you have any dealings with this BTC address... please be careful!

I didn't have much in there... but it was all I did have!  .247 BTC...

Please be careful if you come across the BTC address 1PrG7gE4aYcirJU3DJqt4M96vDE1XNHNJW

Also, if you're reading this and it is your address... please return my BTC to me! Sad  I was going to use that this weekend to go visit my dad Sad

Thank you,

jBacchus

I'm sorry to hear that. however, perhaps you could contact CS there. hopefully they can help you

They won't do anything, although the amount stolen is small enough.. maybe they would feel sorry for him and throw something his way, but then every on else who had stolen accounts would want a hand out.

Yes this is why I"m making the decision to remove my coins from exchanges.  The mindset should be to leave coins that you plan to trade with in my opinion.  That is a decent amount of funds and to just lose out of the blue would make me very unhappy.  I hope this bad situations doesn't happen to you ever again.  At least now you know for next time where to put your coins so nobody can't access them but you.

So pity to hear that! How did that happen? Do you mean all customers of Bittrex lose their coins?
