Sounds complicated or just me being not familiar with it. And you say that

Well, starting with Dash. The way new coins are distributed is like this 45% go to the miners, 45% go to the Masternodes who are responsible for updating the network and voting on the treasury. 10% of all newly minted coins go to the treasury.

Each month, people submit proposals to the treasury. This is meant to promote the coin, develop new tech or create partnerships. If a proposal passes, they get paid in the coin a few days later.

We're working on a large open-source project and we're trying to get funds from the community to help bring it about. Since the Dash treasury has been converted into a cash cow for the Masternodes, we're looking for similar coins that might want to contribute. The project will give the kind of flexibility that NVO offers, anyone can add support for their coins.
