The usual price difference occurs, if the nature of the goods is not real.
Because of trading tricks to get big profits and no loss
other than the price set, for example in the super market they fix prices that do not change change, unless there is an increase
Anyone who comes the price will be likened

It's a marketing strategy. They offer high bid in one account and on the other one offers a low bid. Also, the differences in pricing as you have stated is $3000 which actually consistent on both of your query. I don't think it is a scam but only a strategy.

maybe they are checking out the website first to get an idea of the potential of the client, if he is able to afford the banners at the first place

is there any chance the one of the website looked more advanced than the other?

There is nothing wrong to check the websites first and i'm not arguing on that.
The problem is ask different prices based on the kind of customer.
It's like going to the supermarket and the cashier gives you the price based on how cute you are.
Btw I ordered a press release and I used the cheapest price but despite that I still feel scammed!

They can ask you what price they want, I don't see how it's a problem?

I sent them a couple of emails to ask for explanation but after a month I still didn't receive any reply.
I'm sure they won't reply because they don't have any argument.
It would be nice if someone could post here what they pay or paid to advertise on cointelegraph.com so that we can compare...

Cointelegraph is not scam, that price is fair also they are the most respected media for coins that is why the price is high.
I didn't ask if they are number one or not but why are they giving a price only after screening how much you could probably afford.
No threating every client the same and asking different prices for different customers is called SCAM.

I have 2 websites for 2 different projects and i asked prices for posting on Cointelegraph.com with 2 different email addresses.

I see that they visited both my websites after my request and than i get 2 different price offers!

How is it possible?

Do they base their price by the potential budget of the clients?

For a press release they charge $499 and this is ok.

For an header banner they offered $15000 per month in one mail and $13000 per month in the other mail address.
Sidebar banner on the main page - $8000 per month and $5000 in the other and so on...

I understand that a company can ask any price but i don't think is fair giving different prices to different clients.
Has anyone experienced the same?
