I have found that the best way to gain BTC from Cointellect is to be paid in Dogecoins to Exchange (e.g. Cryptsy) addresses to trade Dogecoins for BTC. I used to get a better deal than with other Cointellect payment modes. If you use Cryptsy.com you can also automate the whole process.
I agree to scrypt mining being the most efficient way to mine with CoIntellect, AFAIK. However, some people without ASIC could also like to mine with Cointellect own miner.

threads = x put in your computer number of cores.
