For $8,000 invested you will only make a $2,000 profit, how is that good? lol

I'd be happy with that kind of return, the problem is that it all depends on delivery on time, if that slips 2 weeks you will be making a loss, and given every asic manufacturers inability to deliver on time thus far not worth the risk.

Predicting 3-4 months into the future is idiotic during this current rate of network growth, so I've reached my limit of pre-orders. I'd be prepared to gamble on a smaller device with a better risk/return ratio but not 8k or 16k

Complete Fail? (not complete) I'll bet they start selling 1000gh/s miners for $8000 or less come December. The difference and selling point is going to have to be power efficiency. The days of mass profit are going to fade FAST after Oct 1st. Thinking your going to continue to have the same level of profit as bitcoin matures is not logical.

The competition is going to be KNC with $5000 for a 400ghs @ 1000watts and HashFast at $5,600 400ghs @ 350watts. If Cointerra is $7-8000 for 1000ghs @ 500 watts or less (in Dec) they are going to be the long term play no doubt. As difficulty is skyrocketing miners that are power hogs will have to be shut down sooner the most power efficient/ read that the machines that will be plugged in the longest 2-4 years down the road are going make the most. Short term profit vs long term endurance. You guys have missed the boat here I think unless it's to say buying a cointerra AT THE MOMENT is not a good idea. Come December they will be king.

Are you guys ok???

They are a great looking team with their profile and engineering know how, but marketing seems to be on the off side. A Much solid teams compares to others. We should see their orders flying off the shelves once they start accepting pp or cc. Smiley

Mining since 2010 & Hosting since 2012
Doesn't it depend on when they are shipping?  I actually think the price isn't bad if they are shipping soon.  I would also take pricing with a grain of salt, right now the market is in flux so lets not be too quick to jump on them.  Even for my ASIC hosting business, it is hard to know if our pricing will work 6 months from now.

With that said, when are they shipping?

Not an attractive offer for me.  Looks like it *may* make a very modest profit by mid 2014 *if* it ships in December - but a significant loss if it ships in January.

it's pay $4000 and make a $9,000 profit with KnC, or pay $16,000 to make a $4,000 profit, hmmmmm I wonder what I shall choose.

It's some straight BS for sure, just like hashfast fail.  Wake up, it's too f'n expensive and the difficulty will be too f'n high.

This was with their comments bashing KnC well if you want long term hardware you buy us, if you want hardware you throw away you buy KnC, yet their hardware is even more expensive than KnC's and much more useless lmao.
