Well it's a relatively free world and they're allowed to do what they will.  Unless they are lying and using the word PROFIT anywhere on their page they're allowed to sell their stuff.  The more experienced miners can simply call out BS on their prices and offer alternatives.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Cointerra's prices : http://mining.cointerra.com/shop/

2 TH/s Plan : $7,999–$11,999

Thats $4 per GH, equal to 0.0084 BTC.

CEX.io's GH contract is "only" 0.0038 BTC.

Bitmain's Ant S3 sells at 0.0013 BTC per GH, and even this is so expensive that you'll likely never break even (or ROI as so many like to say).

I guess it's not a crime to sell apples at $100 per pound, but to all mining n00b's I say ... you better get another hobby. If you want to get involved with Bitcoin, very good, buy some coins at an exchange and/or spend your efforts on making apps/services related to BTC  Smiley

Surprisingly, even pricing that high there are still plenty of buyer. I would be willing to sell apples at $100 if there is buyer Smiley
LOL... seriously.  Hell, I'll sell my 4TH/s to anyone willing to give me $12000 for it.  I don't see the prices being quoted here, though.  Maybe they changed?  Going to cointerra.com and looking at their plans, the 12 month 2TH/s plan is $3500 (starting at the end of December this year).

Cointerra always has such prices, but the quality of their services / products don't justify them.
