Yup, Mining United all over again.  Since you got burned once, why are you doing this again?

This is so fake. The site's ugly, it's a .tk and they can't spell.

Scam, move on, forget that 0.01BTC.

Looks fake. The website is badly designed and this has happened before.

If people are still spewing their coins into stuff like this, why don't I make "stealurcoins.tk" and profit like a mad man.

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck, its probably... a ponzi scheme!

Why dont we wait and see? In less than 20 days he'll post back (hopefully)

You don't need half a brain to know this is a classic ponzi, AKA SCAM. If someone could actually triple their money why would they help you triple it? If I could triple my money I'd be a millionaire in less than a year and a billionaire in less than 1.5. Trust me, it's simply a scam that will "pay" initially and then run off with everyone's money.

I know the OP obviously kicked them off to a good start by funding them. But, I urge people don't even try this service it will just prolong the heartache for people causing much more money to be lost.

This site is pretty much known as a scam right now. there has been some discussions in the newbie sections also. If you want a investment, then try to buy the equipment yourself, otherwise don't risk in relying on others.

It's obviously a scam. On their website they claim to have a "heavy equiped mining farm." The specs are just below:
Quote
2 x BitForce 25 GH/s Miner
4 x BitForce 5 GH/s Miner
3 x AMD Radeon 6850
1 x AMD Radeon 7970
2 x AMD Radeon 6750
1 x X6500 FPGA Miner

So just north of 70 GH/s. Not what I'd call "heavy equiped".

Anyway, this is just a textbook Ponzi scheme. The first folks send in a small amount (the 0.01 option) and will get their 0.03. They'll of course share their story on the forum, which then triggers more people to invest and to invest larger amounts. As the thing goes on, payments are made from the money of later investments, because if the thing runs as the scammer wants it to run, the amount of investment grows exponentially, at least at the start.

And once the growth of the investment starts to go down or the desired amount of coins have been obtained, the scammer pulls the plug and bails with the coins.

So it's perfectly possible to make money investing in such a scam, just be one of the first ones to join. But by doing so you help keep the scam going and the money you make comes out of the pockets of people that are left with nothing in the end.

That's true. I guess they are asking for a investment so they can buy new mining machines. But, there has been so many websites which have done this and ran off with the money eventually. I wouldn't be surprised if it's owned by the same people. Although, even if you do receive your money back, I urge people to be careful. They could be legit for a few months, years but they could eventually run off with the money. If you are going to use sites like these always invest small amounts, not something which can bankrupt you.

Also, the owner of that site may find this thread and may only pay you back because you are reviewing them publicly and they are a newly established company (Least I believe, I haven't heard of them before this as far as I can recall).

After a quick search I returned some results that you may find interesting (Actually being discussed today):

Honestly, I would hold out for quadrupling your bitcoins, but that's just me.

Wise words from a wise man.

I do believe you will get your Bitcoin back. Otherwise they wouldn't earn much....this seems to be a ponzi scheme where eventually they will take the money and run.

We've seen this before. Remember Mining United? Another service that promises to increase your Bitcoins as long as you send them a deposit. After a short period of time they pay you back double or triple the amount you gave them.

I used Mining United for quite a few transactions. I made some BTC off of them. ANd I recommended them to everyone. Finally, my last transaction, which was my largest to date, was never returned to me. Mining United closed up shop and took everyone's BTC!

Well, I just ran into this site

www.cointripler.tk

I have sent them 0.01 BTC and I will update this post in 20 days with results. But I cannot imagine:

1) Why they need BTC to be paid to them if they are mining

2) If they can even pay the returns they say they can

Feedback on the above two points would be appreciated!
