My cryptofolio is down 1/3+  Cry I officially understand the principle of not reacting emotionally. How have others kept their wits during downswings like this?
How they react? For me, there are two options here; you can make your pick. One, you can choose to avoid looking at charts and price flow as that will help you control any panic and keep your emotion in check. I know that won't be easy a thing to do, especially if you're just coming into crypto investment newly. Secondly, you can DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) your investment at this time by leveraging on cost and getting more of those tokens you truly believe in. Get more as it dips. Apply the Warrent Buffet philosophy of, "buying when others are scared."

Side note: Crypto trading and investment isn't for those who panic at the least market fluctuation. Be courageous.

I still don't understand what people are thinking holding coins since November 2021 they must have thought that bull season is still going to be here for longer, ask yourself since when? Its been Dec 2020 since bull market have started and throughout 2021 yet you still expect continue bull run? Take profits and hold USDT just for times like this

Welcome to the crypto lol.

It's normal to happen and not just you but the majority might also have the same experience. Now that you already experienced being at a loss, you should know now what's the best thing to do next.

No one can be good in crypto trading if they will experience only a bull trend. A bear trend is the best opportunity to enhance your trading skills.

No choice but to accept the fact that you are at loss. However, until you literally sell it, it's just a paper loss.

Since you don't have any plans for now on selling it (which I will assume) maybe come back later on and totally forget your portfolio. Times like this already happened in crypto many times and what you need to do is to just try not to stress.

Things like that are really stressful to see but no one can help yourself but you.

If you have studied the market from previous years since the beginning of Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market, you would notice that, whether it takes years of Bear crypto market, it will always recover and even go past your previously buy position. I understand how most traders/investors want to take advantage of selling and buying back when the market has further dipped, but this can also lead to losses because you might be selling just when the market is about to recover, so just HODLing through it also pays but I understand the difficulty seeing your portfolio losing -50% sometimes.

now you know already the principles, so probably the best thing to do is to take vacation while market isn't fine because watching the situation can't help because as well of some negative people around the internet.. By the way if you still have money to invest then go for it and add more. Perhaps a good decision because indeed it's a big opportunity while the market still making correction..just keep adding instead of panicking..

I have seen it all happen and I have this in my room whenever the fear and bear seasons set in, not only I'm holding I'm also buying this is a huge opportunity opened up, there is no bad news coming in fact some big names and big companies are holding to their share at this window season, they are keeping their billion-dollar shares

You're not the only one who's experienced this, I am also the same, but I'm still very calm, because the money I keep in crypto is not money that I will use in the near future.

If you plan to hold for long, then do other things to make you busy out from the crypto market. Make social life, do small business, anything that will comfort you, and stay away from stress.

If you plan to cut your losses, then make sure you are active enough to follow the market to be able to buy at much lower prices.

This type of trend really gives an emotional and stress to us. Try to fight with it as much as you can.

You're not alone, all of us have a down portfolio and it sucks to see it bleeding. But don't feel down, that's the market that we got there and if you're hating to see it go down, don't look at it. Maybe for a few days or weeks. Things are going to be good again and just be mindful that this could go on further so brace yourself from that possibility. And if that ever happens, you're at least see it coming and it won't be making the same feeling as you're having right now. I'm still remaining positive, we've seen this a lot of times and if you need some encouragement, look back to the 2018+.

just think that anytime soon, the market will be greenish again. not all the time that we will be in this downward motion. if you can hold off, just stay put and don't sell your stash at a loss. this is why a lot are losing faith in crypto, whenever their stash is going down and so the panic begins. the crypto market has so many ups and downs, this is not the first time that we will see this market movement, and definitely not the last.
