At least Bter has the decency to stop trading, take their site offline and upgrade their shit.

Well for now at least the coins are getting deposited in a timely manner. That is a HUGE improvement. Granted the 900 I sent in last night is still MIA....I know its only .5 LTC, but for a person like me that is a lot and pays some of the power for this month. How the same coin in a smaller amount gets in after it was started much later... I dont know.

That is why I have them in my signature. Not had a problem with them yet.

And referrals get 10% off their transactions fees for first 6 months.

It's been a couple weeks now and things are still laggy and unreliable.  I get they were bombarded but it's been a while now.

Are you guys still upgrading or what's going on?

Site seems broken - unresponsive, trades that should execute instantly take 15 minutes to fulfill, etc...  What happened?

You must be using IE 6, since it works fine for me. Trades are a bit slower but nothing over a minute.

I'm sure they are working on it, making a million threads about the same subject doesn't help anything.

It's quite responsive for me but as far as I'm concerned still BROKEN since my 30-hour old WDC deposit is still nowhere to be found. Support is useless.

Running a lot nicer for me at the moment, too. Vern needs to stop being surprised by success and playing catch up, but instead get ahead of the curve, even if it means being broke for a week

Good job fixing things, though

I don't think they realize it but they're losing money from laggy ass transactions since they make a cut of each one.

Do you honestly think they don't understand this?

They're experiencing explosive growth at the moment. Ramping up the infrastructure takes a little time.

It's their business, I'm quite sure they realize it.

There are apparently servers in the process of being deployed, not sure when they'll be up, not even 100% sure they've arrived, but I'm sure they're working their asses off to get things running smoothly as quickly as possible.

FWIW I'm pretty sure that any other exchange that saw the % increase in users that cryptsy saw in the last 2 weeks would have been taken down by all the traffic. I find it somewhat amazing that it's still possible to trade on cryptsy (albeit with a bit of lag) given the server loads.

I totally feel your pain, was just trying to use Cryptsy and I get constant pages that won't load from Nginx errors and the ones that do take a solid minute to load up.

Those guys need to either optimize their code, get on a dynamic amazon cloud or buy some new servers. Very annoying indeed for a fast paced marketplace like that is suppose to be.
