First, do I need to study different technical analysis? Will it be helpful once I'm into trading cryptocurrency?

Yes, but extent is the question here. The best way to learn is by trying and immersing yourself. Technical analysis works sometimes but IMO only because so many traders follow them; they end up being self-fulfilling prophecies. Some level of familiarity would probably suffice. Focus on them too much and you could end up seeing patterns where there are none.

Second, do you know some famous crypto fanatics whose giving some good tips about crypto trading which I can follow and learn from?

It's probably better to not trust anyone, since crypto is mostly unpredictable anyway. If you do end up following a couple of people though, make sure you do proper research on them. There are a lot of shills out there.

Lastly, what do you think are the good coins now to look forward to. I can see on the chart that there are lots of new coins in the top compared to what I knew way back few years ago.

Everything rises and falls with Bitcoin, to the point where diversification within the crypto market is nearly meaningless. You might be able to catch surges here and there with alts, but catching those is mostly blind luck and pullbacks can be bloody. If you're just starting out with trading, I suggest you start with just Bitcoin while keeping your eyes on alts, and then you can jump in once you're comfortable.

Learning different analytical techniques might give you new knowledge. But it all depends on your style and your comfort using any analytical technique.

some crypto fanatics that I know come from Tradingview and some of them give their knowledge through telegram group, you can find it yourself.

Good coins to buy right now are the top 10 coins as you mean. Bitcoin and ETH are the main choices for me personally.

Coin existence is such a fragile in crypto industry, they come and go, Bitcoin and only couple others are costant (so far), and if I had to trade safely I'd only trade those. It significantly lowers the chances of getting burned.

I just want to ask for some advice from the experts here in the industry. First, do I need to study different technical analysis? Will it be helpful once I'm into trading cryptocurrency?

First, I'd advise you to first pick the indicators that you trust. There's a number of them and some people base their predictions on fibs, harmonic patterns, drawing flags, simple averages, and many other. You just can't follow all of them because they will make the image much more blurry.

There's a number of youtubers with a lot of followers like Alessio Rastani and Tone Vays. The problem with them is that they are often wrong.
Definitely don't folow Tom Lee Wink

I only care about Bitcoin. If you don't have Bitcoin you should get some before you get into altcoins.

Hello! I hope that we're all safe and healthy during this pandemic. I'm praying for our world to heal, to our frontliners to be stronger and safer, and to our family and friends to recover from sufferings.

Few years ago I'm into cryptocurrency. I can't say that I'm a trader but ehat I did back then was buying some coins which are in the top 10 list on a low price and selling them once the price increases. I got busy due to my job so I had no time to do it. Now, I wanted to get back into the crypto industry and this time, I wanted to be serious with trading and other related stuffs.

I just want to ask for some advice from the experts here in the industry. First, do I need to study different technical analysis? Will it be helpful once I'm into trading cryptocurrency? Every advise and tips will be highly appreciated. No hates please. Stay safe and healthy to all! God bless us more!

You seems to be one of those lucky persons who bought at low and sold at high while most of the people are doing the exact opposite.  Cheesy

Another good thing is that you're coming back again at a time when everything is at a bottom and cheap. You buy anything now including both bitcoins and altcoins and you will surely gain profit in coming days.

Note: I'm not an expert but I do have some years experience of trading.

First, do I need to study different technical analysis? Will it be helpful (...)?
Any new information you add to your actual knowledge is good and will improve your perspective when it comes to analyzing graphs, charts etc. However, I wouldn't rely solely on analyzing charts. Staying up to date with everything going on in the crypto sphere is crucial when you're trading.

If you can get some insider info, get it and make use of it. Insider information is an essential factor for taking the right steps at the right time. It makes no sense to analyze a chart and notice it's bullish if 5 minutes later Binance exit scams. It could turn the market from bullish to extremely bearish in a matter of seconds.

Second, do you know some famous crypto fanatics whose giving some good tips (...)?
I used to follow more than 20 very popular traders back when I used to do trading on a daily basis. What I learned from this is that they usually have a timeframe where they become extremely popular and all their trades are a success, but after a while each and every one of them started having quite a lot of missed tips.

I'd say go over Twitter and follow a few of the top analysts and traders, go to TradingView and find some of the top trader out there and check out on a daily basis their graphs and how they analyze charts. It surely does improve your techniques and you'll do much better after a while. But trading based on other traders' analysis is a hit-or-miss. So is yours, but at least this way you'll learn to make choices for yourself.

Lastly, what do you think are the good coins now to look forward to?
I'd advise you to start from Bitcoin and pave your path from there. Altcoins are very good if you're willing to go for a higher volatility, so the less known the altcoin is, the higher the risk. I have an altcoin I thought has a great future I have invested $10 in and today it's worth under $0.1, so choose them very wisely.

Bitcoin can be very volatile too, Bitcoin could turn from $7k to $70 at any time - there is a possibility of it happening. But the chances are much smaller. Visit CMC right now, do you see these coins that are up 20-30% in a day in the top 100 ones? Now go over the next few pages and you'll find coins that are up more than 90% in a day.. and now imagine if you made the wrong moves when trading them. Would've been a big mess.

Good thing that you decided to comeback. Upon reading your post, I guess you were an investor before and you are trying to engage yourself in trading at this moment. I am no expert in this industry but I would try to address each of your concern and share my idea about each of it.
First, do I need to study different technical analysis? Will it be helpful once I'm into trading cryptocurrency?
Technical analysis is an important thing to know about when you are about to move in trading along with fundamental analysis. Technical analysis is a combination of both examining and predicting the behavior of a market in order to come up with a "market pattern", which in this case, a trader would follow such as when and what to trade. Fundamental analysis on the other hand is seeking for the 'core' idea in the market such as what coins have a low market value, and what are the coins which are more expensive. These analyses would be a good determinant of a good trade.

Second, do you know some famous crypto fanatics whose giving some good tips about crypto trading which I can follow and learn from?
I cannot give specific names to who are the good ones to give advice on what to do in trading. But there is a trading discussion section in this forum wherein you may further read about this matter, which I think would be better than to seek or based to an individual, about what to do and what not, because there is an interaction, morr opinions, the more you can come up with an idea.

Lastly, what do you think are the good coins now to look forward to. I can see on the chart that there are lots of new coins in the top compared to what I knew way back few years ago.

It is hard to tell at this moment. We are currently in a situation wherein things could happen in a sudden. I would advise further observation until a "pattern" is already visible to which coins would be good, because in my opinion, determining at this point the good coins, is like jumping into conclusions.

I hope these answers will somewhat help you.

I personally do not know of any, and I wouldn't even go in search of one, as a returnee be careful with people who say they are experts and most times own trading groups on telegram and even convince people to give them coins to trade for them(once your coins is in someone else's hands, it's no longer yours). So do not believe any of such people nor put all your hopes in their trading signals or strategies, you are better of starting from scratch and learning tips and trading strategies all by yourself.

TA is something that can help you in trading, but you cannot rely solely on it, because it is not something that can predict the future. If that were the case, many would get rich just by looking at the charts, assuming they could interpret them correctly. Without being offended, I think there are many who think they are experts, but a lot of TA is really in the sphere of speculation and drawing lines between some points that someone thinks are important or perhaps crucial. I think you can find some information in Trading Discussion, and some members post their charts in Speculation board, for example : Globb0 BTC charts.

Everyone is shilling his own coin, or coin in which he/she has some interest. Each claims to be the best, the fastest, to have the lowest fees and that it will revolutionize the crypto market. As you notice, there is a lot of new coins, and besides few altcoins which hold their positions for years, others are just there to make some quick profit after which it will fall into oblivion. Playing with such coins equals gambling, so if you think you can pick the right number or the right color try your luck Wink

Welcome back in crypto again. Since you had took a long break so obviously its mandatory to analyze more about current market. I don't know how long you took break but besides of other industries crypto industry is developing day by day. I will not prefer any offsite source to learn because just be active on this forum and you would learn lots of thing from here.

Regarding coin suggestions, I will say handle with care. Current alt coins market isn't soo good and we don't know when this bear markets will end. Rather I will suggest stay with bitcoin and you may short it with USD sometimes besides of hold.

+Q1: yes you need to study all technical analysis you can get hold of, but it should be one done by good technical analyst.
+Q2: yes studying technical analysis can help you read trade well, and you probably know the moves to make at the time you should make the move, but still your perceived judgement can be called on.
+Q3: Bitcoin! Bitcoin!! Bitcoin!!! Remains the good coin to continue to look at out there. Majority of the rest out there are scams
